The location was right on the water, beautiful view of the beach , but not close to the center. If you have no car, prepare to walk long with the suitcases to train or bus station. The property itself is marvelous, the rooms were well equipped. Enjoyed the backyard area, plenty of seats, tables, lovely outdoor kitchen. The whole place has a warm welcoming vibe. The staff Renáta and Szabolcs were super friendly, it felt more like being invited to a friend’s place, than renting a room. They stayed on top of everything, had suggestions to make our stay even more pleasant and really kept the place running, they are like the “heart” of it there. They made excellent breakfast for us, kept the vacation chill vibe going and being always available in case we needed to ask for something. We will be coming back for sure. -Sarah, Balázs and Arthur

Designed in Bali Island-style, the 4-star superior Mala Garden Design Hotel is situated directly on the shore of Lake Balaton in Siófok. I come several times a year and I really appreciate how the staff remembers certain wishes and preferences. The rooms are very cozy and the restaurant (also the breakfast) has a wide and good selection.
