I loved the outdoor areas, the Joglo sitting area with the antique furniture, the outside dining area, the seating area outside my room. It was a lovely place to sit and read and meet other travelers. The staff were very helpful in helping me plan my day trips to the various temples, especially to temples on the way to Prambanan, to Ratu Boko, the Dieng Plateau, and many other suggestions once they understood how keen I was. The drivers the arranged were excellent for a solo traveller and history buff like me. The location, near the ring road meant we could get onto it quickly and be otw without having the hassle of inner-city traffic.

We LOVED everything!!! This was the best place we have stayed in. Right from the start when we asked about the possibility of an early check-in as our train arrived at 4.40am....we were invited to let ourselves in, sleep in the common area, use the toilet and shower and the pool, and order breakfast. The staff were the best! Nothing was too much trouble; the food was delicious, every attention to detail was considered inside and outside of the bungalows, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We were able to book a driver and guide for Baluran NP and a hike up the volcano. They were also super helpful too. The owners are so lovely and they obviously know how to employ great people. We will be telling our friends and fellow travellers to visit Didu's and we would also love to return too. Thank you so much to everyone. Didu's is absolutely THE BEST!
