EVERYTHING was beyond expectation!!! the location, the staff, receptionist, the room apartment, the cleaning, room service (super affordable), the breakfast was amazing! the gym is 10/10, the hot bath, cold bath, sauna and steam room 10/10 in a 5 star hotel. and the Massage with 30%discount in a 5 star hotel was blooooody amazing and affordable!!!!!! the level of professionalism was unreal. also you can book a smokers room which is so awesome! i loved my time here! Medan 2025!!!!

We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Really sweet staff. 6 nights wasn't enough!

If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings and the guest house can arrange a car rental service. Excellent location with nice lake access with sitting area. Motorbike rental for good price.

Beautiful location, amazing snorkelling we especially liked the local turtles who swam with us and very helpful and friendly staff. They organised anything we needed and all the food was delicious. The beach villa was very well appointed and worked perfectly for our family of 4. Thanks to Freddie for the hospitality it was lovely to see him again after our previous visit 12 years ago.

We stayed on the upper floor of the cottage, and it was very spacious, with a balcony and a latch door leading to the rooftop with gorgeous view of the jungle and the river. The shower was literally a "rain" shower as it had an open roof， unique. It's one of the few places with aircon AND hot water shower. We enjoyed our stay here.
