Joy and Evan really have the art of quality hospitality down pat, ready to chat, amazing breakfast (actually too much e.g. one of our nights was Friday night when no eateries/restaurants are open and Joy provides a pre-prepared breakfast on Friday for Saturday. There was so much for breakfast we ate our Friday night dinner from the breakfast and still had ample for the following morning). Rooms are air conditioned, have tea and coffee, fridge, hair dryer. If I could give more stars I would.

Akkotel-Boutique Hotel ligger inbyggt i Acres stadsmurar, bara 50 meter från havet. Här finns en takterrass med utsikt över Medelhavet och den gamla stadskärnan samt rum med välvda tak. The hotel itself is a historic building and is actually part of the city walls. The interior is absolutely stunning, resembling a museum, and even the walls in the corridors are protected by glass. Our room had a charming and rustic ambiance, reminiscent of the interior of a castle, and it was quite spacious. The breakfast at the hotel was also plentiful. By taking the elevator to the 3rd floor, you can access the city walls, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Bay of Acre and the ancient city. The scenery is truly beautiful.

I’ve stayed here several times already — and I’ll definitely come back again! 🌿 This is truly the best place in Israel. The hotel deserves a thousand stars! Every little detail is thought through, and the staff treat every request with genuine care and respect. The rooms are always spotless, and the breakfasts are delicious — you’ll find absolutely everything you could wish for. If you’re looking for a quiet and beautiful place to spend a few peaceful days, this is exactly the hotel you need. I celebrated my birthday here and I’m already planning to return with my friends. Mizpe Hayamim offers a spa, swimming pool, and panoramic terraces overlooking Galilee. The hotel is really carefully curated, there are little reading corners everywhere. It probably has a large capacity but you don't feel that the hotel is busy. We loved the breakfast and our room was gorgeous. Overall, it was an incredibly relaxing, pampering stay.
