The building itself was really nice, more traditional looking, but with well-equipped rooms and really comfortable. Staff was friendly and nice. Check-in was flexible and with very good instructions.

Central location, 10 min from the train station and 5 min from the ferries. Very clean, comfortable, AC worked very well. Great breakfast, the owners were very welcoming, went out of their way to prepare breakfast before the standard hours, so we can eat before we catch an early train. Very quiet, although it was in a busy street. We loved our 2 nights stay in the junior suite.

Located on the lakeside, Hotel Promessi Sposi enjoys beautiful views of Lake Como and of the surrounding mountains.

The staff were lovely. The accommodated every request we had. The room, albeit a bit small, had the best view we could imagine and a soothing sound of running water. Just one word of caution, the hotel does not have an elevator.

Modern room design and comfortable bed. Had amazing breakfast (great variety of hot dishes) and dinner at the hotel bistro. Polite staff and we can get to check in the room early.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Lake Como. Our room with a partly lake view was absolutely lovely — waking up to such beautiful scenery was a real highlight of the trip. The room was very clean and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and felt very relaxed and well taken care of. We will definitely be coming back!

the rooms and the bathroom were very spacious. very clean as well. host was very nice, garden and balcony were great. breakfast was very welcoming and helpful. location was good but not for people who get nervous driving in tight spaces in the Italian mountainous roads. but parking was good.
