Just some information for anyone thinking of walking to the hotel instead of taking the water taxi from Maronti. Currently, the pathway only extends to the Hotel Gondola, the last stretch is sand only. That's not a problem if you have a backpack, but with my sadly heavy luggage, I got stranded there. I made a quick call to the hotel and they very kindly came to my rescue and helped me get my bags in. I would recommend to get a water taxi for 3 Euros at Maronti beach (from the bus stop, once you come down the stairs, straight in front of you on the beach). Mention you need to go to the stop 'Cavascura', which is the next stop along the beach and it will take you straight to the hotel Angelino. It's fine to walk back and forth without luggage along the beach and pathway to Maronti though and I often caught the bus up to the port from there or the water taxi across to Sant Angelo for day trips. I look forward to visiting again one day in the future.

The size of the room was perfect and I m not talking about the shower. The bed was super comfortable The staff was super helpful for everything. We had an issue with the rental at the airport The staff found out 2 options for us in not even 30 min and was much better than the car rental agency we had at the beginning. Even during the evening we want to eat but went to tired to go to te restaurant and the night receptionist ordered for us delivery food because Uber eat is not working well there. We loved the view on Bacoli, the castle, is insane. The huge terrasse is more than pleasant to have a drink after a long day to visit and beach. Price is decent for what you get. Quiet place, not to much rooms so not too much people. Conclusion: I could go back there closed eyes.

To stay in such a fascinating place with the most magnificent views was magical. The rooms are basic but very clean and modern. We went to the restaurant for dinner which was a tasting menu. The food was great and the service top notch. We were initially worried about getting our bags up the stairs as the lift from the entrance (by the ticket office) floor only goes so far. We shouldn't have worried though as the bags where taken care of at the ticket office and taken to our room. Taxis are easy to get. We loved Ischia.
