Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). The guesthouse was very clean, spacious and offered an included light evening meal and breakfast. The kitchen was spotless and every detail taken care of. The property was in a good location and the staff were friendly and helpful. Costs were very reasonable for what was offered and I recommend the guesthouse and would stay there again.

Miyajima Seaside Hotel ligger bara 5 minuters bilresa från färjehamnen Miyajima som erbjuder gratis transferservice och vacker utsikt över havet. Everything. The style of the hotel was awesome. The staff went above and beyond for us as a small family. The food was delicious.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. The staff were friendly & helpful. The hotel has a really nice feel to it.

Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei ligger i Onomichi, en kort bit från Senkoji Temple, och har en bar samt utsikt över staden. The view was absolutely stunning. being able to live in a historical building like this is a privilege I would say. Really good

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. It is located close to the aquarium, 20 minutes away from the ferry station which allows to explore the town and be in a quiet area to rest.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. The onsen, the food and the staff. The facilities were very good. There was pick up and drop off to the ferry and you’re not very far from ropeway.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Our room was incredible. It was one of our favorite rooms we stayed in during our two weeks travelling across Japan. It had so much character and beauty, from the tatami matt flooring, paper screen doors, beautiful wooden flooring in the bathroom, and bamboo weaving on the ceiling banisters. In our room, we had a fine view of the bustling streets of Miyajima. It was a great view for people watching as tourists and locals visited stores and restaurants. The dinner was great, made with fresh ingredients. It was no doubt one of the best dinners we had in Japan. It consisted of multiple courses, and you were able to choose preferences for each course. This was a nice surprise, as we had stayed in another ryokan in Hakone a few days prior that did not offer a selection for the courses. The sashimi was super fresh, and the pork tonkotsu was terrific.

Onyado Nono Sakaiminato Natural Hot Spring ligger i Sakaiminato, inom 25 km från Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum och 29 km från Shinjisjön. Enjoyed the modern take on traditional Japanese aesthetics, from the lobby to the rooms. Friendly and welcoming staff. Very enjoyable baths, indoor and outdoor. Exceptionally close to the train station. Nice that the manga library included the Detective Conan series and Mizuki Shigeru's works.
