Awesome hotel that has bike specific facilities and knows a lot about the Shimanami Kaido. They made shipping my bag super easy and took care of all the details. Really close to the bike rental shop to make an early start easy.

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Super friendly and helpful. Wonderful place. Great vibe. Guitars and Piano available. Two onsen. Breakfast and vegan dinner was included. I fully recommend staying here for at least one night l. Go for a hike and enjoy the quiet island in the early morning and evening.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Beautiful room with an amazing view, lovely stuff and delicious food. Super convenient shuttle service to the ferry.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. This was our favorite hotel in Japan! We stayed only one night to get to see the island of Miyajima a bit more, and staying here was such a nice experience. In particular, the dinner at the hotel was so special and delicious! You need to message them to make the reservation some days in advance, but they were always very responsive. The facilities of the hotel were really great: the public baths, the rooftop terrace, the footbath café. Finally, the staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei อยู่ในโอโนะมิจิ ห่างจากวัดเซนโคจิ 70 ม. This might have been one of the best places we stayed in Japan. The room was right above the cafè but very quiet and cute with an incredible view. The cafè downstairs was delightful and had a lovely view. The coffee and tea were incredible. You can even eat your own food there. All the bathrooms are shared but that's no problem at all. The price was fantastic for what we got. We also enjoyed talking to other guests. The view from the lookout above the shrine is also spectacular.

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. It is located close to the aquarium, 20 minutes away from the ferry station which allows to explore the town and be in a quiet area to rest.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. This stay was perfect for Miyajima. The onsen in particular was delight. Amazing bath products !

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Very new and modern, fantastic views, superb suite, very kind staff, delicious breakfast and dinner. Warmly recommended!
