Hakodate Morning Market is only a 1-minute walk and Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse is a 15-minute walk away. Huge apartment style room. Service from all staff are incredible and made our 4 days stay very memorable. We walked from the hotel to Red Brick House and slowly stroll to Mt Hakodate Ropeway. Plenty of restaurants around the area. Highly recommend the conveyor sushi near JR Station (Nemoru Hanamaru), had our best meal there with reasonable pricing.

I chose this property for its architecture, it is an old bank brilliantly converted into a boutique hotel. The old building does not have a lift but it has a beautiful wide staircase. Highly recommend this hotel.

Taxi to JR train station is also very good for 700¥, walking is a bit far with luggage as it's 1km. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, adding a warm touch to our stay. Moreover, the convenience of being able to walk to the nearby station in just 3-5 minutes. We didn't expect much for just one night before heading to the next city, but this budget-friendly gem exceeded our expectations. We genuinely loved our time here and would highly recommend it.

Located in a historic hot-spring district with a history of 350 years, Yunokawa Prince Hotel Nagisatei boasts rooms with en suite open-air baths. Rooms offer sea views of Tsugaru Strait or views of Hakodate City. I stayed in the deluxe twin bedroom (Western style) with outdoor onsen bath. The room was clean and spacious. The outdoor onsen bath was excellent and relaxing. I had a buffet breakfast at the hotel. The food was really good. Had I known the food here was delicious, I would have chosen the half board plan.
