Built in 1913, the Kusatsu Hotel exhibits the architectural style of the Japanese Taisho Era. Magical historical hotel in Kusatsu! Right next to the hot springs park and situated on a slope overlooking the mountains and town. We were a bit afraid to book because the photos of the rooms didn’t look too appealing, but in reality both the rooms and the hotel itself is beautiful, modernised and comfortable inside, while maintaining a lovely period vibe! The public bath was also nice, with a relaxing outdoor pool.

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. We liked the fantastic nature surrounding the property. The outside Onsen, with several hot springs to choose from, was very relaxing, with the river flowing by it and the lush forest/ mountain on both sides. We stayed in the old building and enjoyed it very much. The authentic dinner and breakfast were also very good. Very friendly staff!

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. From the second we stepped onto the threshold of this hotel, we felt welcomed and super cozy. Although the lady at the reception didn't speak English, she still did her best to explain everything we needed to know about the hotel and the area. We also had complimentary sweets and participated in a small tea ceremony, which was something we, as tourists visiting Japan for the first time, appreciated so much. The place had four private onsen rooms, with all the necessities you might need, such as different shampoos, towels, hairbrushes and cotton pajamas after the bath! Sleeping on the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Yubatake was 1 minute away from us. The breakfast was delicious. I wish we had stayed there longer!

Hotell Route-Inn Isesaki Inter asub Isesakis, 8 km kaugusel Kariibi mere rannast Kiryu. Külalised saavad einestada kohapealses restoranis. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Nice and clean. Seems like relatively new facilities.

Kusatsu onsen Futabaya offers accommodation in Kusatsu. There is 1 paid public bath facility and 3 free public bath facilities within a minute's walk from the property, while Yubatake is also a... The room is very roomy and clean. It has two built-in private hot spring spas for the hotel guests to enjoy.

Tasuta WiFi-ühendusega Ryokan Tamura pakub majutust Kusatsus, 600 meetri kaugusel Kusatsu Nettaikenist ja 2,1 km kaugusel Kusatsu Kokusai suusakuurordist. Everything! The room, the private onsen was pure bliss and the food was absolutely phenomenal. The family work so hard to provide the best atmosphere and experience. I notified them of my seafood allergy and was catered for.

Hotell Sakurai asub Kusatsus, 46 km kaugusel Jigokudani ahvipargist. Kohapeal on hooajaline välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, vabaõhuvann ja aed. Viietärnihotellis on suuskade hoiuruum ja lift. Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner. A very organized hotel from check-in to meal times, and to check-out. The free shuttle was a great welcome.
