J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse asub Hongus, Kumano Hongu Taisha Suurest pühamust 10-minutilise autosõidu või 70-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel Kumano Kodo palverännaku teel. The hostel was fantastic. We rented a tatami room, which was spotless, very comfortable and with a really nice view. The onsen was amazing, we absolutely loved it. Everything was clean, there were snacks, eggs to boil in the onsens in town and all cooking and serving tools to eat them afterwards. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. This was our favourite stay along the Kumano Kodo, despite being the cheapest.

Waqoo Shitaderamachi is situated in Tennoji, in Osaka. The accommodation is 500 metres from popular areas such as Tsutenkaku and Shinsekai. Very nice quiet street right next to busy Shinjuku. Easy to find, subway line right around corner. Very narrow as it is in Tokyo and you have to be ready to sleeping on second floor loft, not for everyone. The room was spacious and clean. The toiletries and coffee provided were high quality. The staff is very helpful with our needs and most of them understand English. Our front desk, Jane, was able to assist us with our luggage transfer from Kyoto to Osaka. They are also very responsive in the email and messages. Overall, it was a great place to relax after going around Kyoto.

The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi. Location is the best. Close to everywhere. The staff speaks english very well. Many activities such as origami and calligraphy for free cause this place is basically a visitor center.

I had high expectations due to Booking reviews and I wasn't disappointed... this place is the best!

Traditional Japanese breakfast was very tasty and well-served, as everynthing else during our stay. Breakfast changed a little bit from day to day. They also have vegan option, which was important for one of us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable even it was traditional Japanese futon. The staff were the nicest persons ever. The room was cleaned every day.

Ryokan Ryokufuso asub JR Kyoto raudteejaamast 15-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel ning pakub tasuta WiFi-ühendust. Kohapeal on avar avalik basseinikeskus. The people are very friendly and helpful, and they were very attentively our child visitor. We could feel at home in this peaceful place in the very busy city. There is also a nice onsen.
