Located in the heart of the city, Hotel Nikko Kumamoto features accommodations with free wired internet access and views of Kumamoto Castle. Hotel Nikko is centrally located in Kumamoto making it an excellent choice for any visit. We stayed for 4 nights and truly enjoyed the place. Rooms are spacious and clean with all amenities available. The breakfast on the buffet on the 2nd floor had one of the best choices we have seen so far in Japan with locally sourced products. In the same building as the hotel there is also a Japanese restaurant, there are few set menu available for hotel guests - it’s an excellent choice and the food was delicious.

The food was extremely good. They even have a really nice private onsen.

Amazing ryokan experience - everything was simply great. Nothing to be improved, because everything is perfect.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Beautiful Japanese ryokan with amazing Onsen hot springs. The staff presented us with incredible hospitality, a true ryokan experience. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The included dinner and breakfast were unique and excellent, mainly consisting of traditional local cuisine that enhanced our overall express. One of the best highlights of our Japan trip!

Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Beautiful Ryokan in a great location. The onsen is lovely and the food is absolutely amazing. The little details provided by the staff really made the experience feel special and personalised (from the welcoming message, gift for the kids, help with the bags and detailed explanations). The room is also beautiful and well equipped. I left wanting to stay longer :-)

The staff are very professional and organized. I really appreciate that they took my special requests seriously. The service is superb. The place is so beautiful, spacious and clean. The food is great.

Kurokawa Onsen Ryokan Ichinoi ligger blot 5 minutters gang fra centrum af Kurokawas varme kilder og tilbyder indkvartering i japansk stil med japanske Yukata-kåber. The room was big and spacious. Enjoyed both the outdoor and indoor. They even had a private bath. Both dinner and breakfast were authentic and delicious. Staffs were very friendly and could converse in English. Overall was a good and relaxing trip, except for the road going up to the ryokan was very narrow.

Boasting individual Japanese-style houses and maisonettes with a private open-air hot spring bath, Ryokan Kono-Yu is nestled in lush greenery in the peaceful Kurokawa hot spring area. We were blown away by this wonderful accommodation and staff. The team who looked after us were the warmest, most helpful people and the ryokan itself was simply stunning. Having our own private Onsen was amazing and the tatami room was very stylish . Dinner and breakfast were delicious too - we can’t wait to stay again in the future.
