Beautiful Ryokan in the mountains, away from the crowded center of Yufuin but still just few minutes walking from there. We booked the annex accommodation with private onsen, the room was amazing and just 30 sec from main building for even more intimacy. The staff is super kind and full of attention for us, they delivered my luggage to my room once it has been delivered and they were always helpful with anything and always smiling. They even offered to take a picture of us at the check out before we left on their beautiful terrace. The restaurant where we have the breakfast is small so you can enjoy quietly your delicious traditional Japanese breakfast, we had 2 different breakfast for for 2 days we stayed. And aln of it just in front of the wonderful view of Yufu mountain.

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Beautiful Onsen with very good dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed the the baths the most.

Yawaragi-no-Sato Yadoya features 6 hot spring baths, a Japanese restaurant and universal design, only a 2-minute walk from the picturesque Yu-no-Tsubo Kaido (Yu-no-Tsubo Road). Very well kept Ryokan with comfortable facilities and amenities, room was very spacious and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the sukiyaki dinner was on point ! Private onsen makes the whole experience even more worth while !

Located in the heart of the city, Hotel Nikko Kumamoto features accommodations with free wired internet access and views of Kumamoto Castle. Delicious food. Great location. Super comfy room.

Det eneste var onsen, som havde en skøn udsigt! Jeg synes også at personalet var meget høflige. Vi valgte dette hotel, for at tage en afslappende dag efter meget rejseri, så vi havde håbet at kunne nyde bare at være på hotellet med alle dets faciliteter.

Ryokan Yamanoyu ligger i Minamioguni, 40 km fra Aso-bjerget, og har gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. Denne ryokan med 3 stjerner har roomservice og gratis shuttletransport. Loved everything about this ryokan, staff were really kind, food was exceptional and onsens were very good too.

Daimaru Besso ligger i Chikushino, 500 meter fra Buso-ji-templet, og har en række faciliteter, herunder bar og gratis WiFi. Der tilbydes desuden bagageopbevaring og en restaurant. Everything was amazing! Extremely comfortable futon, gorgeous room, amazing exquisite onsen, oustanding breakfasts and beautiful staff. Will recommend far and wide.

Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. The hospitality and all the attention from the staff was awesome. The food was excellent, exceeding our expectations. The room was very clean and the amenities were fabulous. The price of the drinks and goods was very fair.

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. Breakfast and dinner that was provided was really good. Staff was really attentive and welcoming as well. They prepared decaf tea for us, even making sure that the meal was catered to what you asked for (no raw food, no beef etc). They helped us to parked the car, and even help to clean the exterior of our car! Room was great to experience local culture. Private onsen facilities was wonderful as well, just need to queue for it.
