Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). We love the Miyajima guest house, the staff was super friendly, the location was great, the common areas were beautiful! We also really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Overall the only negative was that we only stayed one night, would love to come back and stay at least two nights in the future. ❤️

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. From the moment we arrived until the very last minute, our stay at Miyajima Seaside was truly unforgettable. ​The hotel itself is a characteristic architecture, beautifully maintained, located in an enchanting location. ​The impeccable service provided by the entire staff, their kindness and courtesy were remarkable. They demonstrated extreme availability and sensitivity to our needs, ensuring every aspect of our visit was handled with grace and efficiency. ​It is rare to find a place where the setting, the structure, and the service align so perfectly. We wholeheartedly recommend and we look forward to return soon.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Staying here was like entering another world. We were picked up by a very friendly and helpful driver who pointed out points of interest on the way up to the house on the hill. There we were greeted by a lovely lady who escorted us into the lobby were a friendly, young man checked us in. The lovely lady then escorted us up to our room and showed us were everything was, made us tea and made sure we had fitting yukatas to wear. The room was very spacious with an incredible view over to the iconic "floating" Tori gate. We spent our first our just sitting on the window sill with our tea taking in the breathtaking scenery. Dinner was an adventure of most excellent Japanese cuisine. The private onsen was lovely. It is a hop and a skip down some steps into the village and down to the sea and I recommend a walk at twilight and night to really enjoy the place before the daytripping crowds come in the morning. The staff were so nice and helpful and on the day of departure they offered us to leave our luggage with them while we went for a hike and when it was time to leave we could simply call them from the port and the driver brought it down from the hill in the little car. I would love to stay here again. Just perfect!

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Excellent service, great amenities, the foot bath was very relaxing. Shuttle service to the ferry was fast and quite practical. Breakfast was nutritional and balanced. Overall a fantastic experience~

Oyado Tsukiusagi ligger i Miyajima, 13 minutters gang fra Momijidani Park og 600 m fra The great Torii. The BEST! Great customer service! GREAT GREAT GREAT

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Excellent staff and breakfast, super comfy room

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. This stay was perfect for Miyajima. The onsen in particular was delight. Amazing bath products !

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Værelset var virkelig dejligt, rummeligt, god indretning og fantastisk udsigt

Sakuraya blev renoveret i 2013 og byder på prisvenlige værelser i japansk stil med udsigt over bjergene eller havet. Der tilbydes gratis WiFi på fællesområderne. The property is right in between the ferry port and the town / O’Torii. The staff was super friendly, the rooms spacious and fully equipped, they even had kimonos for us! On top of everything, the hotel has it’s own private onsen!!! We relaxed after a day of walking around and the next day, upon leaving, the staff gifted us a couple of umbrellas for it was pouring and we didn’t have any. Our mystical stay at Miyajima couldn’t have been such without Sakuraya :)

Miyajima Hotel Makoto ligger i Miyajima, 2,3 km fra Tsutsumigaura Strand og 7 minutters gang fra Five Storey Pagoda. Her er en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Personalet var meget søde og høflige
