Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). A really great place to stay. The tatami rooms are lovely, we had the most wonderful autumn colours right outside our window. Fabulous. We also really enjoyed the veg. Curry in the evening.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. From the moment we arrived until the very last minute, our stay at Miyajima Seaside was truly unforgettable. ​The hotel itself is a characteristic architecture, beautifully maintained, located in an enchanting location. ​The impeccable service provided by the entire staff, their kindness and courtesy were remarkable. They demonstrated extreme availability and sensitivity to our needs, ensuring every aspect of our visit was handled with grace and efficiency. ​It is rare to find a place where the setting, the structure, and the service align so perfectly. We wholeheartedly recommend and we look forward to return soon.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. The shuttle service from the ferry terminal, the private bath (free of charge) available for timeslot bookings, and the staff were all wonderful and exceptional. Amazing views. The private bath was a welcome amenity for us as we didn't realize it was something offered without extra charge. It has two showers and a bath with adjustable temperature (add hot or cold water to adjust).

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Japanese style room, staff (especially Azusa-san), cultured experience (food, yukata), shuttle service to the ferry station

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. All the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty . I recommend it all.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. The onsen, the food and the staff. The facilities were very good. There was pick up and drop off to the ferry and you’re not very far from ropeway.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Wonderful rooms. Comfortable and clean. A lovely terrace to have drinks and look towards the famous gate. Staff were very helpful and exceptionally polite.

Miyajima is beautiful, one of the most amazing places in the world and Sakuraya enhances the experience to the maximum. The room has plenty of space, having the first real washitsu in which I stayed while being in Japan. Miyajima is not a place in which residing is easy (the Island is still little), so the price is more than considered. English is not a problem as well. The staff was extremely helpful - my girlfriend was sick, but they provided me with a thermometer and some medicines, such that the trip wasnt completely ruined. If you want to stay in Miyajima, this is it.

Το Miyajima Morinoyado άνοιξε ξανά τον Απρίλιο του 2014 μετά από ανακαίνιση και προσφέρει άνετα δωμάτια και ευρύχωρο δημόσιο λουτρό. Lovely hotel. Excellent breakfast, we did not opt for the dinner, so I cannot comment. I used the bath onsen twice and it was very clean and relaxing. We were able to use the shuttle to the hotel which was nice. We walked back to the ferry on the last day, which is an easy 25 minute stroll. I would recommend climbing Mt Misen, it was a great climb with some temples on the way, and we took the ropeway back down.
