Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Very welcoming staff and overall nice atmosphere in a beautiful house. The dorm room was spacious. Inclusion of curry for dinner and simple breakfast are a great plus for the price. The location is perfect, close to the floating Tori gate. I didn't use any of the onsen but it's nice they provide this facility.

This hotel is a great budget option for a ryokan experience! I paid much less than what is quoted at other places but it definitely felt like a luxury experience. The traditional Japanese room is huge! And the dinner plus breakfast were very delicious and extravagant. I struggled to finish the kaiseki dinner. The staff were so helpful and polite. They even brought all my luggage to the room from the ferry terminal. The shuttle makes everything very convenient as it is farther from the main sights. The onsen was clean and very comfortable.

Everything was great. We used the service to pick up our luggage from the luggage storage, and explored our way up to the beautiful hotel location on foot. The staff were welcoming. Dinner was both beautiful and delicious, and it was great to be able to book the bath for a relaxing private bath. The rooms were spacious, pretty, relaxing, and quiet with an amazing view!

Le Kikunoya se trouve à seulement 7 minutes à pied du sanctuaire d’Itsukushima, un site classé au patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO. Great location to explore Miyajima and enjoy the peaceful area at night.

L’établissement Oyado Tsukiusagi vous accueille à Miyajima, à proximité de ces lieux d’intérêt : Pagode à 5 étages de Miyajima et Sanctuaire d'Itsukushima. Extremely convenient, literally just across the road from the ferry pier and not hard to find at all. Room was very clean and comfortable. Our host did not speak English, but was able to attend to all our needs without issue. Was definitely a memorable experience staying in a traditional Japanese room on Miyajima. Would highly recommend!

Situé juste en face de l'aquarium de Miyajima et à 5 minutes à pied du sanctuaire d'Itsukushima, le Mizuhasou vous propose un hébergement affichant une décoration à la fois moderne et traditionnelle. Great location , close to town and the red Tori. Spacious comfortable room, view of the forest in the back, nice building with a restaurant downstairs with excellent food. Great breakfast. Kind and helpful staff. You can leave your bags if needed. We walked from the ferry, 20-30 mns. Great bath/tubs. Everything works well.

Situé sur l'île de Miyajima, classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, l'Iwaso propose des hébergements de style japonais offrant une vue magnifique sur les environs. Beautiful property. We had the half board with multi course traditional Japanese meals. They were amazing but yes, pricey. We wore our traditional Japanese. The hubby used the Osen and said it was fabulous. I didn’t go as I stayed with our 10 year old daughter who didn’t feel comfortable doing it. The staff was helpful and courteous. We left our bags with them on the day of checkout and they brought us to the ferry around 14.30.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Quel belle vue de notre chambre sur le tori 😍 je recommande fortement. Le personnel etait tellement attentionné en plus!

Rénové en 2013, le Sakuraya propose des chambres abordables de style japonais avec vue sur la mer ou les montagnes et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite dans les parties communes. Location was excellent. The View from my room was marvelous. The room was specious for a solo traveler. Really recommend this hotel.

First off the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and met all our needs. The diner and breakfast were excellent and the hostess exceptional. The wife and I appreciated the little extras offered!
