They give very good advice on the area and the Onsen. The place is spotless clean, beautiful and very quiet and comfortable. For a fee, you have access to Onsen in neighboring hotels. The town of Yudanaka is also very nice. The hotel is very close to the train station. From there, you can take a bus to the Snow Monkey Park. Convenience store, bars and restaurants are all walking distance too. If you need to do laundry, be aware that you have to start it before 8pm (might be good to know if you're traveling around and didn't have time to do it before).

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. We loved this hotel within walking distance from the lovely central shopping street. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was excellent.

The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Oshi Ryokan asub Naganos, 20 km kaugusel Zenkoji templist, 22 km kaugusel Nagano jaamast ja 32 km kaugusel Suzaka linna loomaaiast. Exceptional accomodation offering comfort and exquisite cuisine right next to Togakushi Houkosha Shrine. The Hostess greeted us and gave us a tour of the expansive ryokan. Our tatami room was wide with a beautiful view of the yard. Our sumptuous dinner was beautifully presented in a dining room, there were 5 exquisite courses from fresh and delicious ingredients. Breakfast was wonderful as well. We had a wonderful and restful sleep on the tatami as rain drizzled throughout the night. The hostess gave us an early farewell as she had to attend a hospital appointment for her husband’s diagnosis. We wish her and her family well, and appreciation for their wonderful hospitality and exceptional meals. Highly recommended stay in Togakushi!

Majutusasutuses Daymaruya Ryokan saavad külalised nautida kuumaveeallikate vannisid ja traditsioonilisi Jaapani stiilis majutusruume, kus on tasuta traadiga internetiühendus. Wonderful ryokan in Shibu Onsen. Hosts are amazing - picked us up from Yudanaka station and dropped us back, same with the monkey park. Made everything so easy for us. Ryokan has indoor and outdoor onsens, the outdoor onsen is private. We used it at night when it was snowing and it was magical. Plenty of eateries close by, although the hours vary for each. Make sure you have cash as many don't accept cards.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring district, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at Suminoyu. Massages can be requested and a footbath is also available for extra relaxation. It looked great, very japanese style. They provided yukatas to use in the hotel and at town. We had access to the onsen in the hotel, which was beautiful and really confortable, and also acces to the onsens around the town. The staff was great, very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing.

Yasuragi on väike 6-toaline võõrastemaja, kus pakutakse Ryokani toite ja hubast interjööri. Everything was perfect. Starting from the warm hospitality from Mr.and Mrs. Kobayashi, the best hosts we have ever met. The place is very clean and very well taken care of. Great rooms with comfortable beds. The private onsen offer a great experience. The dinner and breakfast was fantastic and we would like to thank for the whole experience.
