Surrounded by lush greenery, Mampei Hotel offers free WiFi and free on-site private parking. JR Karuizawa Station is a 10-minute drive from this non-smoking accommodation. We had a wonderful stay at Mampei Hotel, a beautiful hotel with a long and rich history. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Mr. Komiyama (if I got his name right), who went out of his way to assist us. The atmosphere was warm and peaceful, and it was special to stay at a place once frequented by John Lennon. Our room was elegant and comfortable, with a private onsen bath, and breakfast was thoughtfully prepared to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The scenic drive in and proximity to the old Ginza street added to the charm. A truly memorable and happy experience.

Aibiya guesthouse was the break in the mountains I needed after travelling around for a few weeks. The house, the amenities, the breakfast, Yoshi and Seongmi are the sweetest people and always there to help you or give you advices.

Guest House Raicho pakub majutust Norikura Kogenis Chubu Sangaku rahvuspargis. Norikura suusakuurort on 3-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel. There’s simply no words good enough to describe a little hidden gem like Raicho. Everything was perfect here. All the staffs speak perfect English and they would drive you from the bus station or to the dinner place whenever they are available. In Winter they are the only party that operates kamikochi tours which on a sunny day is a once in a life time experience. The outdoor onsen is amazing in the snow (dont get scared off from the cold). The fireplace is beyond amazing and all the people staying there are friendly, dormitory are surprisingly quiet at night and the beds are so comfy and warm. It almost felt like we were in Switzerland or something. Ten of of ten experience.

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. Service was excellent, shuttle service was amazing, breakfast was delicious and rooms were very comfortable. Love the coffee machine. Staff were always ready to assist us.

The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

2012. aasta augustis avatud B&B Hotel Hyochoan pakub lihtsat läänelikku majutust. Tubades on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ning külalised saavad majutusasutuse terrassil linnuvaatlust nautida. The owners are very hospitable . The owner gave us a ride back to the train station and made a couple sightseeing stops and even took pictures for us. The breakfast was exceptional homemade Japanese food using top quality ingredient. We were even served a gold award sake which was excellent. The bed was super comfy. The property is within walking distance to nearby restaurants and onsen.

Oshi Ryokan asub Naganos, 20 km kaugusel Zenkoji templist, 22 km kaugusel Nagano jaamast ja 32 km kaugusel Suzaka linna loomaaiast. Amazing. Lovely owners. They treat you like a real guest. So loving and caring. Very good food, made with love and care. I'll miss that beautiful place forever.

Very spacious and beautifully presented rooms in traditional Ryokan in the middle of Shibu Onsen. Comfortable Tatami beds. Great to have private toilet. The onsite outdoor private Onsen and inside (male/female) onsens were fantastic. Loved the supplied Yukata and Geta for the Onsens. Key supplied for all public onsens through town. The owners were so helpful and kind, driving us to and from snow monkeys and to Yudanaka station for our train. Enjoyed the traditional home made breakfast delivered to our room at reasonable price in beautiful bento box.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring district, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths at Suminoyu. Massages can be requested and a footbath is also available for extra relaxation. A fantastic experience! The staff were so kind and hospitable, the food was amazing, and the onsen so relaxing.
