EVERYTHING. 👍 Perfect location, near the metro station, a 24-Hr Grocery store, 24-hr Don Quixote just a few steps away, Shopping Malls, Restaurants, and famous landmarks. The room is spotless. Cleanliness is topnotch. We had everything that we needed. A small kitchen with stove, pots and pans, cutlery, microwave, big refrigerator, washing machine ( so don't bring too much clothes. Save baggage allowance for what you can buy in Tokyo 😉). What I like best was the towels and bedsheets doesn't smell vinegary. It smelled sooo good. The bed was comfortable. They had also extra pillows for the little one. Complete toiletries (shampoo, bodywash, facial wash). Towels and Pyjamas. Everything is translated in English so you can definitely know how the things work. The staff speaks english too. Everyone's friendly and accomodating. Special shout out to Tanaka who told us about the 24-hr supermarket, as we arrived a bit later around 10pm extremely hungry. Check in and check out were a breeze.

This was my second time staying at the ryokan, I love it. Just like the first time, the staff was very attentive, polite, and helpful. The ryokan is very well located, close to Asakusa Temple, shopping streets, and the subway. Despite the busy streets, the ryokan is very quiet. The bathroom is quite modern, and the room maintains the traditional style while also being spacious.

A pleasant surprise on arrival to receive a wonderful room upgrade to a king suite, followed by a complimentary bottle of champagne on arrival to our room. Much appreciated after a hard days travelling.
Free flow soft drink for 24 hours is excellent and additional alcoholic beverage from 17:00-0:00 make it more score. Rice with curry for breakfast is good. Jacuzzi in artificial onsen made more relax. Very near to Shimbashi station.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the jacuzzi in the Luxury Twin Room, and the shower was great! The location was nice and safe. Definitely will recommend it to friends.
Hotel Niwa was a very pleasantly lovely stay. I really appreciate the very zen relaxed vibes of the hotel and how clean and modern it felt. Our room always felt like such a lovely sanctuary after a humid and sweaty day out in the Tokyo summer. The level 3 relaxation area is such a great touch with the tea, coffee and zen garden. The massage chairs are a must - they were divine. Wish I had discovered them earlier!
Staff were lovely , very caring and helpful, always smiling Hotel had lots of free amenities and facilities (I guess not entirely free and charged for in the price of the room) which were very welcome , including free breakfast which was available almost all day long, little snacks available round the clock, foot bath, sauna , jacuzzi etc. Staff were all lovely and held our luggage for us after checking out and even gave us a parting present of chopsticks and soap
Everything is set up for a good night sleep! Just stepping into the lobby puts you in a good mood. A lovely scent is lingering around, the staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. The onsen is wonderful and relaxing, the rooms are soundproof and the blind shuts out the light completely. The beds are perfect and the pillows are a good reason on their own to stay in this hotel. I also loved the delicious breakfast with local dishes.
Great location. Less than 5min walk to station. 20min walk into Shinjuku. Lovely staff. Very clean & fresh towels & water bottles provided everyday. I couldn’t hear noise from outside or from other rooms. Very relaxing ambience as soon as walk through the doors.
Lovely and cost-effective stay with tatami floor and futon. Room is small but cozy and comfortable, and the jacuzzi was so relaxing. Also very clean, and when you come be sure to ask the hostess for a western-style bacon and egg sandwich - it was delicious!
Lovely garden, incredibly friendly and accommodating staff close to the train station and underground rail so it’s easy to get around. it made our trip very lovely. The garden was that beautiful with the cherry blossoms that I even proposed to girlfriend (she said yes).
