Open from August 2017, Guest House Wagokoro offers a modern Japanese-style accommodation an 8-minute stroll away from JR Nippori Station. Each room comes with an en suite bathroom and toilet. Loved absolutely everything about the place itself and the location (which is quiet, but still has absolutely everything you need in a walking distance). Definitely would come back again - I've got to try booking a tatami room next time!

Only a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Subway Station and Tawaramachi Subway Station, B:CONTE Asakusa offers modern accommodations with a kitchen and an in-room launderette. Mycket artiga, trevliga och hjälpsam personal. Det finns ett litet utbud av hygienartiklar såsom tandborste, kam, tvättsvamp, rakhyvel med mera i receptionen som vi fick ta fritt av. Även snabbkaffe, te och karameller. På vårt rum hade vi ett helt kök med liten utrustning, en kyl, frys med isform samt en tvättmaskin! Det var toppen! Även aircon gjorde att det blev super svalt i rummet! Det fanns bra med utrymme i rummet också. Personalen hjälte oss att boka taxi vilket underlättade jätte mycket eftersom vi inte visste systemet. Hotellet ligger bara någon minut från Sensoji och några minuter från asakusa station. Toppen läge för att ta sig runt Tokyo. Det finns flera resturanger med veganska alternativ i närheten. Rekommenderar även att köpa tunnelbanebiljetter som täcker Toei subway line och Tokyo Metropolitan line för turister på Asakusa Culture center and tourist information som ligger ca 6 min från hotellet, nära ingång/utgång 2 vid Asakusa station. Man kommer runt i hela centrala Tokyo om man är okej med att gå några extra minuter ibland.

Marunouchi Hotel is a minute's walk from Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit and a 10-minute taxi ride from Tsukiji Fish Market. the room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent

Ryokan Sansuiso ligger i Tokyo och erbjuder gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och rum med luftkonditionering. Denna ryokan med 2 stjärnor har bagageförvaring. It is a nice and quaint location. If you are interested in experiencing more traditional Japanese hotel with tatami mats and sleeping on a futon, this is a good option for low price. Naturally it does not provide onsen and the very exotic Ryokan style food service. The owner is really nice. I can only form the most basic Japanese sentences and he does not speak a lot of English, but still we understood each other. Check-in and introductions for the room and the facilities was all done verbally. I only had to rely on a translator app when I requested a taxi to Shinagawa station during check-out. It is not a bad walk, but it was raining so I did not want to get myself and my luggage wet. Taxi fare was 1600 yen. If you are walking to the Ryokan from Shinagawa station, then I recommend planning your route to approach from the south. If you take the slightly smaller street towards the Gotanda Waterfront Plaza, the T-intersection at the end is a very good indicator you are very close by and do not need to worry about walking too far and missing your turn.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. We stayed in the Kiku room. The room size is great for 2 people (about 15 square metres) and very clean. The bathroom is spacious for us. The location is fantastic, so close to Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise Street and the Asakusa train lines (Metro, Toei etc). The lobby has coffee and hot water machines where you can make your coffee and tea. Snacks are also provided. The hotel is also very quiet at night, and the ryokan have a noise curfew policy between 10 pm to 7 am. We are so glad that we chose to stay in the Asakusa area.

Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba is the first Grand Nikko hotel in Japan, open from 1 July 2016. Mycket bekvämt hotell, rent och glänsande, fantastisk personal, relativt stort rum, bekväma sängar, flera bra (men ej billiga) restauranger i hotellet bl a sushi, teppanyaki och grill. Gångavstånd till Gundam-statyn.

Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel ligger i centrala Shibuya och erbjuder rymliga rum med panoramautsikt över staden. Hotellet har ett fitnesscenter och flera matställen. Läget till det vi ville hitta på i Tokyo, detta blev en oas för att återhämta sig mellan utflykterna.
