Situated on Chale Island along a white sandy beach, Chale Island Resort is surrounded by indigenous forest and offers magnificent sea views. The resort boasts 3 outdoor pools and a spa. A beautifully crafted and decorated hotel - on an island in the Indian Ocean (17km south of Diani) - sister hotel Nomad where we previously stayed and we would say it was a more peaceful experience. The room was beautiful and spacious. Excellent variety of food and different restaurants. There’s a lovely gift shop and so many activities - kayaking, mangrove walks, yoga, diving etc or you can just relax on the beach or by one of the three pools. Sunsets on the deck are incredible. Good transfers to and from Diani - depending on the tide you will go across by small boat or tractor! Which was so fun!

Situated on the Indian Ocean along the white sandy Diani Beach, Ocean Village Club offers guests a tranquil haven. Words don't do this hotel justice. I would give it a 20 if I could. It just feels right, feels like you're home. This adults only hotel is not like your usual no-kids-party-place – it is quiet, peaceful, respectful, delicious, luxurious, caring, and just overall amazing. The food is sublime, lunches and dinners are a la carte – lunches are great, and dinners are different every night. They are delicious, nutritious, healthy and well-balanced. To Hamisi and all the staff who made our week so very relaxing, safe and purely magical – thank you. To the person responsible for the creamed mushrooms for breakfast – god bless you 😁

Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa, Mombasa is situated in Mombasa on one of the longest beachfront protected by the Mombasa Marine Park. The staff warmly welcomed me at reception & the cold drink as they checked me in was very thoughtful! The meals were fantastic! I also really enjoyed sitting on the swings to watch the sunset & with the amazing view of the sunset meeting the ocean meeting.
