The vibe was cozy and comfortable and very relaxing. Gamini was the perfect host and made sure everything was smooth and enjoyable. Max was a joy and made the place seem so much more homely. Would definitely come back here for future stays.

The accommodaation was in very nice and calm locality, close to city centre. The house itself nicely decorated for Christmas, and rooms are big enough to keep luggage. The caretaker Sita was very humble and helpful person.. We reached well past 11pm, welcomed us with smiling face. Though we ciuldn't meet the owner, but he was always there to help/suggest from the date of booking. Many eateries are near by... We would love to stay again in future.

She is really an angel. ;) Facilities are well maintained, pillow is very comfortable and the room is sound-proof. Highly recommended if you are staying in Colombo.

Every single Sri Lankan delicacy, from hoppers and string-hoppers to idlis and dosais, with a mouth-watering array of accompaniments - was available, along with a smorgasbord of offerings! The staff - Rifishaz Refai and his wonderful team went out of their way to offer hospitality like no other. Nothing was difficult. We stayed 3 times over the holiday period, and they welcomed us consistently each time! The rooms and overall ambience - the charm of old-world splendour abounds at Galle Face Hotel!
