Nestled in the heart of Kota Kinabalu City, Hilton Kota Kinabalu boasts four dining options, a cocktail bar and an outdoor rooftop pool with a bird’s eye view of the city and harbor. Room was good. Food for breakfast was very good filled with a variety of options.

Set atop Plaza Merdeka Shopping Centre, The Waterfront Hotel Kuching offers modern guest rooms with free WiFi access. The property boasts a semi-outdoor infinity pool and 2 dining options. Breakfast had lots of options and catered to many palettes. Rooms were clean and staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had great views of the river and were in short distance from plenty of restaurants. And the people of Kuching are the most easy going and friendly people I have ever met.
