Hotel staffs was really friendly and helpful when we ask for recommendations on where to eat. The hotel is strategically located in the middle of the city, and in between the armenian street and the mall. Had a great experience staying here even for a short period of time.

Fabulous stay, my first time in Malaysia. The characterful and historic building is renovated with great taste and simplicity, creating a comfortable, secure and relaxing environment. The room was of good size, comfortable bed, desk etc and excellent shower. The air-con was efficient and very necessary! Breakfast is by the pool and offers a daily "Asian special" which features the different cuisines of the island. The hotel is located just outside the UNESCO bufferzone, the neighbourhood is safe and very walkable with many exceptional eating options within a short walk. Special mention for the hotel staff who were exceptionally welcoming and attentive.

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options. The hosts and employees were really lovely and welcoming. We got good recommendations for the city. The hotel itself is a gem, beautifully designed and full of charm (don't forget to have an aperitif on the terrace). Also, there was a little surprise from the chef in the fridge at the end of every day. Breakfast is in the nice Italian restaurant downstairs (Michelin recommended) which offers a good variety of a la card options to start your day. The location in the middle of the old town is perfect to explore by foot.
