I was in Fredrikstad for a concert, the hotel was just a short walk from the dome. The room was clean, excellent breakfast, and nice staff.

Located on the city's pedestrian street just 600 metres from Moss Train Station, this central hotel offers free WiFi and free parking. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and wooden floors. The hotel is so well up keep, wonderful amenities the staff is amazing. Very helpful on my stay here a good breakfast buffet, and a bar and some hot sandwiches if you need them late at night.

Este hotel está situado en el centro de Fredrikstad, en el casco antiguo, rodeado de tiendas, museos y mercados y a 150 metros de la terminal de ferris del casco antiguo. It is amazing to stay inside Gamlebyen. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite off of the central plaza. What you are paying for is partly the experience of staying in something historical and authentic and being in the heart of the old city. It is a unique experience to stay here. You can see and feel the history of the structure and imagine what it would have been like living in the area hundreds of years ago. At the same time it is updated with everything you could want including a washer and dryer. The private courtyard was lovely at night and in the morning. The artwork on the walls is also phenomenal. This suite is very rich in texture and was just beautiful. The bedroom on the main level had a glass door (with a wooden dutch door outside). You could open it up to the courtyard, which was a lovely touch. There is another bedroom upstairs along with the large kitchen and living room. Downstairs is the main bedroom and 3/4 bathroom with the washer and dryer. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Wished I would have taken photos of the upper floors to post here.
