The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. We loved this hotel! Everything was just fantastic; the atmosphere, the rooms, the service, the food. Could have stayed here forever.

Staying at El Albergue Ollantaytambo was genuinely one of the best decisions we made on the trip, hands down. First off, the location is perfect. Ollantaytambo itself is a fascinating town with a history to match—it’s the only one still using the Inca grid system! Plus, it offers two great, fun treks: the ruins and the granaries. But the real boon is its position right AT the station, making it the ultimate base for Machu Picchu. Getting up a couple of hours earlier than everyone else for the trek is great, but there's nothing better than coming back and immediately checking in instead of having to deal with another grueling 2-4 hour bus ride back to Cusco. It's also much more comfortable being at 9,500 ft instead of the 11,500 ft elevation of Cusco. Beyond the incredible convenience, El Albergue is simply an exceptional hotel in its own right. The service is beyond reproach; everyone on the property was so incredibly friendly and attentive. It truly makes the entire experience. The rooms are impeccably designed and wonderfully comfortable. I have to specifically shout out the gorgeous art throughout the rooms and common areas—it’s stunning, and seemingly much of it is from the proprietor, Wendy Weeks. The on-site amenities are another huge plus. The restaurant has exceptional food, and breakfast starts early (6 a.m.) with a great variety. You absolutely MUST book the wonderful Pachamanca lunch beforehand. They also have a local coffee roastery and a distillery right there; we had a great tour at both and really enjoyed the products, especially the Matacuy. Oh, and there are the most adorable dogs on the property, too! Overall, El Albergue was one of our favorite stays in Peru. We had a great time and are genuinely looking forward to coming back.

Situato a soli 2 isolati dalla piazza principale della città, il Corihuasi occupa una locanda ristrutturata in stile coloniale risalente al 18° secolo con vista panoramica sul centro storico di Cusco.... Feels like a mountain lodge but with all the cleanliness friendly staff and facilities of a good hotel. Great views over Cuzco over breakfast and from our room. Couldn't be improved in our view and we hope it stays just yhe same for our next visit.

L'Hosteria de Anita è una vivace pensione a conduzione familiare situata nel quartiere artistico San Blass, nel centro di Cuzco, lungo una via pedonale con gradini per l'accesso alla struttura. Posizione molto centrale, acqua calda in camera e ottima pressione della doccia(rara a cusco) . Tea/caffé sempre disponibile, personale molto gentile. Stanze pulite. Giardinetto interno molto curato e ottima colazione

In Cusco´s San Blas art district, Amaru Inca is set in a colonial house with internal patio and garden, featuring scenic views. Convenient location close to Plaza de Armas but quiet at night. Front desk staff especially Laurence was super helpful and so friendly. We loved the breakfast and Eli and Julia were super nice. The room was spacious and the bed was huge and super comfortable. One of the best stays in our month and a half in Peru.

Just 8 minutes drive from the Velasco Astete Airport, the Sonesta Hotel Cusco is less than 1 km from the city centre. All rooms feature a mountain or city view. Colazione incredibile, varia ogni giorno, materie prime di estrema qualità, tantissima scelta e orario molto flessibile per chi viaggia presto, struttura molto accogliente nel complesso, ben arredata, servizi super e personale sempre presente e sorridente. Camera molto pulita e personale attento alle richieste

Wyndham Costa del Sol Cusco is a converted 17th-century mansion located in Cusco’s centre, a few steps away from Cusco Main Square and La Merced Church. Staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms are lovely and the food was excellent. The laundry room was a big plus for us, since we had been traveling for almost a week!
