Everything - spacious room, huge luxurious bed, bathtub, laundry with washers and dryers, two full kitchens with induction cooktops, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, coffee machines, refrigerators/freezers, great cookware, wine glasses, utensils - everything one needed to prepare and enjoy a relaxing meal. Then there was the view from the dining/lounge room overlooking the bay with Monte de Guia and Ilha do Pico in the background. Each morning we relaxed on the balcony as we had our coffee and listened to the surf gently rolling in. This was all highlighted by the friendly and attentive staff which were there during the daytime hours. Location was perfect with a short walk to the middle of town and the marina. Free street parking (residential area) was available right at the front door. Never an issue.

The owner, Fátima, is a truly wonderful person—kind, thoughtful, and incredibly hardworking. We felt so comfortable and welcome that we didn’t want to leave. We truly hope to come back one day.

The staff was amazing and the wonderful character of the place! Beautiful doesn’t really capture how amazing it was! We had everything we needed and the customer service was above and beyond. We also enjoyed our meals we ate on site. Wish we had eaten there more than one dinner! Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to stretch out in the house. We did not attempt to cook in the house but were easily able to prepare picnic lunches and snacks in it.

Offering an outdoor pooll, ALLuar Lodge is set in Porto Judeu. Free private parking is available on site. Every room at this guest house is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. The view and location was amazing. The room was small but it had all we needed for a perfect stay. The breakfast was homemade and delivered every morning in a cute basket. The host was very nice and friendly.
