Located within 1.3 km of Wat Saket and 1.1 km of Bangkok National Museum, Villa Mungkala provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bangkok. I was so welcomed! Timmy and Dear was waiting for me, ready to help me with my luggage.I had an ice tea served as a welcome drink.Villa Mungkala felt like a home away from home! Timmy took very good care of me,she even walked me on a little tour of the neighbourhood.And she made sure to lend me her umbrella since it looked like it would rain.The breakfast was delicious.They have a menu to choose from. I had homemade pancakes with almonds, bananas, pineapple and papaya on the side. The coffee was delicious as well.Fruits and muffins,tea and coffee was available all day. There was a mini fridge.I also loved the neighbourhood.Youre in a small lane, off the main,very local,very friendly.It was very quiet.You are in walking distance of the Emerald temple, the temple of the Reclining Buddha.The Grand Palace and more. I am sure to return!

It was super clean and comfortable. The room was huge, including the bathroom. Even though it was wet room style, the whole place didn’t get soaked. Bed was very comfortable. The owner is super nice even though she doesn’t speak English she uses translation software so everything was fine! Very quiet at night, and there are free snacks and water.

Offering free bike rentals and night bike tour (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday only), the classic, eclectic Old Capital Bike Inn features rooms that are individually appointed with heirloom furniture and... We couldn’t agree more with all the other positive reviews. This is a charming and quirkily designed guest house - we loved it. The accommodation photos represent it well. Staff were lovely - welcoming and couldn’t do more for you. We had the two bedroom annexe room which was comfortable and well equipped, including complimentary water and a few soft drinks. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented, plentiful and tasty. This will be our go to place in Bangkok moving forward - firm family favourite. For those of you visiting during the current works happening on the street outside - we barely heard anything and it certainly didn’t detract from our stay.
