Puerta de la Ciudadela gateway is 100 metres away. 世界遺産の中に泊まるという夢のような体験ができる。どこに行くにも徒歩ですぐでとても便利。週末だったので外は音楽で賑やかだったがホテルはしっかりとした造りだったため音は入ってこず静かに過ごせた。少人数しか宿泊できないためスタッフの方がすぐに私の名前を覚えてくれていたのは嬉しかった。手紙を出したい、タクシーを呼びたい、などの問いに対応しようと心を尽くしてくれた。朝食付きプランではなかったが、変更したのは正解。２階の、大きな窓辺から朝の静かな景色を見ながらの朝食は、とても贅沢な気持ちにさせてくれる。また昼食も、提携のレストランで予約をしたが、景色を見ながら穏やかな気分で食事をすることができ、とても贅沢な時間を過ごすことができた。コロニアという街の雰囲気が好きな人だったら、このホテルでの滞在を心から楽しめるはず。

Arenisca Beach is 500 metres away.... This hotel was hard to find, covered with trees and plants, very well hidden in a thick forest, at the end of a three lined alleyway. But when we got there, we were greeted welcome by Mario, one of the owners, he showed us around, inside and outside, and we instantly felt very much at home in this very special hotel! Cosy warm fire wood heaters in the living room and dining room, a/c in the bedrooms, making it very comfortable in the chilly evenings and mornings. The two dining rooms had large oval tables, where we would socialize with other guests, enjoying long breakfasts and dinners with wine, while Sergio, the other owner, and architect of this special house, together with Mario, told us the history of the hotel and give us a lot of information about the area, with ideas as to what else to explore. Outside this unique hotel there is a large park, ideal to enjoy walks and rest in the natural surroundings. A truly great please to stop for a couple of days, hope to be back soon!
