Great local area of Montevideo, close to some wonderful cafes and beautiful gardens. Hosts are very nice and helpful. I also appreciated being able to set up my transfer to the airport with them.

Great location, near the central squares and the Old Town. Very pleasant hotel with nice staff, with an excellent grasp of English surpassing our limited Spanish. The city itself is a joy and the hotel added to the experience. It was very clean and welcoming.

Vivaldi Hotel Loft Punta Carretas offers elegant rooms with modern amenities, free WiFi access and contemporary décor in Montevideo. Excellent location and spacious bedroom with a small kitchenette, microwave, fridge and plates/cutlery. The bed was large and very comfortable. We also had a table and chairs in our room and a balcony with seating and a table. The shower pressure and temperature control was excellent. The breakfast area and reception was buzzing with life every day, which made for a very relaxed feel. Very good choice of food at breakfast. The background music in these areas is also spot on and very relaxing. The hotel is situated in a good area with a convenience store directly opposite and a large variety of shops, restaurants and cafés nearby as well as Punt Carretas shopping mall a short 5 minute walk away. There are also a couple of beautiful Fresh Markets in the vicinity and a bus stop where you can catch the 121 into the old town (Ciudad Vieja) for 61 pesos for a single journey. There is a rooftop swimming pool which is just great to cool off in at the end of the day. We were so pleased to have booked this hotel.
