Comfortable bed, huge room, great amenities, clean, Chromecast, speaker in the room, staff were absolutely exceptional and went above and beyond in everything they did, the breakfast was incredible (sadly we didn't get to try dinner) and the staff were great at helping us with getting a meal without meat, and most importantly, the view and the bath were truly incredible. Definitely a place we'll be back to.

It’s quite far from train station but can take a taxi to the house, or if you want to see nice places from the station to the house, recommend to walk, it’s take a time but nice place to see and take a photo. There is a big bath tub that can use 24 hours. In the morning the owner make breakfasts for us too.

This is the best accommodation we've stayed at so far in Japan! It's very well equipped like it would be at home! The house is very spacious and has the most comfortable beds & blankets. I couldn't sleep on my back side since I had slipped & injured my tailbone a week before. But I could on this bed! The washing machine is also an actual dryer in one!

This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

The owner is so nice, fun and friendly! She’s so helpful and will help you get anywhere you need. She will recommend places to go and eat. If you have no plans, she will give you suggestions. If you are travelling alone, it is an especially great place to stay. It feels like you are staying with family. The store owner next door is wonderful too. I highly recommend this place if you want to feel at home. The owner will leave a an egg outside your room in the morning that has been steamed for 10 hours.

The private onsen in the room was exceptional and the size of the room was way beyond. Great service.

One of the MOST comfortable and peaceful stays I’ve ever had in Japan. I had very good sleeps and rests each night in a very comfortable Japanese, tatami style room. I really felt like a childhood home. It was very comfortable. The room was big with it’s own VERY LOVELY porch. Waking up every morning and drinking tea and eating their DELICIOUS breakfast each morning was a joy and I really felt at peace. Assi chan the cat has been keeping me company during my solo stay in the inn. She is THE SWEETEST The bathroom and toilet are not attached to the room but not an issue at all as the place is small and very comfortable and clean I’ve never stayed at a place this HOMEY before. I wish I had stayed longer. I’m definitely coming back to Assi again when I visit Yufuin next time
