Good range of pillows. Spacious room. Superb breakfast with a serene view. You could view birds from the dining area in the mornings.

Excellent food and facilities. Was able to fully relax with both the private bath and communal baths. We also liked the different lounges in the ryokan with tea, coffee, games and freshly baked pastries that offered something special to each day. It was also very conveniently located close to both the bus stop and also activities along the lake (visitor centre, wild bird sanctuary etc) so was very easy to step out for a walk. The free shuttle offered to Chitose was also very convenient.
