I loved the design, the location, but most of all - the wonderful staff & delicious food, beautiful garden! We have been travelling for 3 weeks and staying at various beautiful places, but SOKI Atami is without a doubt, the best! I look forward to returning soon before we leave for home.

Saunaga Onyado Yuinosho asub 45 km kaugusel Hida Minzoku Mura rahvakülast ja 46 km kaugusel Takayama jaamast. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Clean and very well managed onsen resort. Guest checkin and access internal of the hotel which is all tatami from lobby onwards. Clean and very transitional feel.

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Great location, offered free shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko station, as well as buffet breakfast and dinner included (and drinks!) It was a lovely place to be, and in all honesty you could have a wonderful time here without setting foot outside the hotel! I liked that you could also book a private onsen if you didn’t feel comfortable going to the communal onsen.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Great place. Staff could speak English with no problems which was great for an international traveller. We had a beautiful view of the lake and regretted that we stayed only for one night. Very good Kaiseki dinner served in your room. The room even had a private sauna. Will definitely come back.

Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... The traditional Japanese room that we stayed in was so comfortable, and the breakfast that we had was delicious

Hotelli Asafuji kõikidest tubadest avaneb vaade Fuji mäele ja Kawaguchi järvele. Hotellis on termaalvannid ning konditsioneeri ja rohelise tee komplektiga Jaapani stiilis toad. Amazing experience to have the chance to get dressed with a yukata for dinner. Nice locaton beside the lake in a very quiet area. The quality and quantity of dinner were superb. Extremely nice and friendly staff looking after every detail. Onsen is located on the top floor with amazing views to the lake.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. It is beautiful. Close to the temple, such a lovely area. The traditional feel was so neat, and it snowed! What a treat. The Onsen was lovely. Our beds were futon, which were fine for us. If you are going to the snow monkeys - check the weather and wear appropriate clothing. Boots in the winter, hiking style clothes are needed. Unless you are used to hiking, I wouldn’t take young children in the winter.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Hotel was great! The traditional vibes was immaculate and the traditional breakfast and dinner options was a really good experience. Staff was really friendly and explained how all the electronics and remote controls work at the start which really helped us have a comfortable stay. At the end of the stay, the staff even sent us to the bus station without us asking as it was snowing and she mentioned it would be difficult for us to drag the luggage to the bus station 😭. Overall it was an amazing experience and I recommend all to stay here during your time in takayama!

Takayama jaamast vaid 2-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel paiknev Oyado Koto No Yume pakub jaapanipärase stiili ja värvikate elementidega tube. The hosts did a lot to accommodate us and gave a very good service. We received some tea on arrival and some nice gifts upon departure and during our stay we could taste local sake and plum wine.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. The rooms, the staff and the property! Everything was perfect
