The staff is extremely polite, calm and knowledgeable. They are willing to help with everything. They know some English so nothing is a problem for foreigners. Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... The hotel is exceptional, we booked the traditional Japanese room, with tatami floor and breakfast and dinner. The onsen/hot baths were very pleasant (we only used the ones on the top floor), and even booked the private onsen at a fee, so we can enjoy privately as well. The dinner was amazing, and definitely a highlight of our trip.

The staff was very accommondating and provided free pick up from the station. Upon arrival, they showed us to our room, which was clean and had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. During the dinner, the staff made futon beds for us, which my family all loved to sleep on. The dinner and breakfast we served were fantactic in taste and appearance. The staff even introduced the food to us before we started.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. We went on our honeymoon for 1 night - it would be more! All of our expectations were exceeded. The room (we stayed in one of the villas) was impeccable, the service was perfect, and the food was wonderful — the kaiseki dinner is absolutely worth it, and the breakfast is very good as well. A truly memorable experience!
