This was literally the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. It was so tranquil and beyond relaxing. Every detail on the property was meticulously thought through, the service was impeccable and the food was AMAZING! I only wished we could have stayed longer.

The location, the peaceful lake view, to the dinner at the room to finish with the private onsen with a view on Fuji-San. Incredible place, and the staff was lovely and friendly. (

Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... The hotel is exceptional, we booked the traditional Japanese room, with tatami floor and breakfast and dinner. The onsen/hot baths were very pleasant (we only used the ones on the top floor), and even booked the private onsen at a fee, so we can enjoy privately as well. The dinner was amazing, and definitely a highlight of our trip.

This property was excellent!! I loved everything about this hotel! The Onsen was nice and the staff were exceptional!!! We got picked up from Kawaguchiko station in a breeze once I called that we had arrived! I would 100% stay here again! The welcome sweets and tea were yummy!

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Amazing location right next to the temple. Room so so comfy and owners were lovely.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. This is my second time to stay at Fuji Onsenji Yumedono. The staff are very welcome and willing to help. Very clean and the most important is that they have a private onsen inside the suite.
