They demonstrated extreme availability and sensitivity to our needs, ensuring every aspect of our visit was handled with grace and efficiency. ​It is rare to find a place where the setting, the structure, and the service align so perfectly. We wholeheartedly recommend and we look forward to return soon.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Everything!!! I can't explain how this stay exceeded our expectations. The kindest people, most beautiful view, cozy feeling and just made us wish we stayed there longer.

Our stay at Azumi Setoda was exceptional from start to finish. The staff deserve special praise: unfailingly kind, attentive, and remarkably efficient . Every interaction felt warm and genuinely welcoming. The rooms are impeccably clean—truly spotless—with a sense of calm, light, making the space feel instantly relaxing. Housekeeping and presentation are flawless, and the atmosphere throughout the property is serene and elegant. The food is outstanding, from breakfast all the way to dinner. Each plate showed great care, quality ingredients, and fantastic balance of flavours. The sommelier is superb: extremely knowledgeable, with thoughtful pairings and explanations that elevate the entire dining experience. Unequivocally outstanding !!

The Shiroyama Terrace Tsuyama Villa asub Tsuyamas, 200 meetri kaugusel Tsuyama imemuuseumist. Kohapeal on saun ja kuumaveeallikatega vann ning konditsioneeriga majutusruumid. Beautiful! Nice room. Onsen was amazing. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast even better! Staff was exceptional.

Shokinkan asub Yasugi linnas, 27 km kaugusel Shinji järvest, 29 km kaugusel Lafcadio Hearni mälestusmuuseumist ja 25 km kaugusel Mizuki Shigeru muuseumist. It's a traditional Japanese ryokan in a temple. Nice staff and we really enjoyed the stay.

Kinsuikan asub Miyajimas, viie korruselise pagoodi ja Itsukushima pühamu lähedal. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla ning juurdepääs kuumaveeallikale. everything was perfect, it was full experience. We loved the possibility to go out in our yukatas, there were outdoor traditional shoes provided and special socks in the room. The dinner felt like Michelin star restaurant and staff prepared our futons while we were eating. The view from the rooftop was the best and free snacks and drinks were provided. Ryokan hot bath is also very well maintained. Personnel was increadibly nice and helpful all the time. I would totally come back again!

Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa asub Miyajimas. Kohapeal on ainult täiskasvanutele mõeldud majutusruumid, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. Selles kahetärnihotellis on pakihoid ja pakutakse... The silence, the calm, the location, the room, the atmosphere. It was beautiful and it was worth every penny. I would have stayed a week.

Kansuitei Kozeniya asub Tottoris, Daijoji templist 50 km kaugusel. Külalised saavad kasutada kuumaveeallikat. Majutusasutus on Tottori liivaluidetest 7,4 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on pakihoid. I experienced the best hospitality I've ever experienced in a small Japanese town. The ability to use the private hot spring without a reservation was the best part. The breakfast was also really classy. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

Suminoe Ryokan asub Onomichis, kõigest 25 km kaugusel Oogamiyama Omoto pühamust. Majutusruumidest avaneb vaade merele. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Old traditional Inn with a beautiful garden in the courtyard and views of the waterfront. Lots of common areas space. Our room had a garden view, was spacious, futons and pillows very comfortable. There is a good size fridge, a toilet, and a convenient sink for wash up and set all toiletries. Everything works well, wifi etc…onsen was very nice as well. The whole place is very clean and quiet, Breakfast and dinner are served in a room and you can enjoy the view of the garden if you leave the doors open, the food was very good, traditional Japanese. Fantastic location, basically across the street from the ferry we took for Onomichi. And by the bike path. The Main Street starts around the corner. All the staff is wonderful. The hostesses are incredibly kind, fun and caring, they will assist you with anything. They picked us up at the Setoda bus station, we were grateful. You can rent a bike nearby. Also I forgot my iPad on the JR train, they took the matter in their hands and I got it the next day!! We spent 3 nights and it was great. We will definitely come back if in the area again.
