Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Staffs are nice and friendly; no problem with English communication. Our room was good with a private onsen in the room. In addition, this hotel has three private onsens (free use) 24 hrs. Free tea and coffee. 10 mins walking distance from the main bus station. This hotel has a shuttle bus, between the bus station and the hotel.

If I could give ten stars I would! Our stay was amazing! Everything from staff to location to food was great! You can’t beat the location within mountains next to a beautiful river! Onsen facilities were gorgeous! Staff all spoke English perfectly and were extremely thoughtful and kind! They even called me on our way there to make sure we can make it to the dinner!

Offering massage services and mountain view, Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) is situated in Kusatsu, 45 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park and 14 km from Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. Excellent location, close to the center and all major onsen. The view from our room was fantastic, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. I strongly recommend reaching out to the property and booking a dinner reservation. Dinner was absolutely incredible, some of the best Japanese food we've had. The lady who welcomed us was very polite and friendly, and she could speak very good English. The baths were also great with two different hot water sources and a sauna.

Offering river views, Minakamisansou is set in the Tanigawa Onsen district of Minakami, 36 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and 39 km from Naeba Ski Resort. It is the perfect place if you want to get a relaxing trip with a traditional Japanese onsen. The location is quiet and with perfect picturesque views of the mountains from the onsen. The staff are really nice and accommodating, even though we don't speak japanese. The food is amazing and at the same level of a fine dining restaurant every breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to Chinoki who served us everyday in English and helped us enjoy our meals everyday.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. The beds were extremely comfortable. The private baths were always open and available for use. The breakfasts were of decent size and very good. The owners/staff were helpful.

Situated in Kusatsu in the Gunma region, Soumeian features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and well prepared. One of best stay in Kusatsu. The breakfast is a homemade dish that is prepared carefully and beautifully. We are having a great time staying in Soumeian.

Set in Nakanojo in the Gunma region, Sekizenkan Kashotei Sanso offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. The kaiseki cuisine was a memorable experience, the open air onsen was great, the staff gave good recommendations on places to visit in town and were super friendly. Small yet cozy town, will definitely come back again!
