Excellent location and the staff is wonderful. There’s only a very limited number of rooms so it’s more of a boutique hotel but it doesn’t take anything away from it.

Just a 3-minute walk from Ishidan-gai Steps and 500 yards from Ikaho Ropeway, Chigira Jinsentei features accommodations in Shibukawa, with an open-air bath, a garden, and a bar.

The food was absolutely incredible. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Absolutely beautiful location. Just a great atmosphere and the hot spring was fantastic.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodations located in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen.

Everything! Wonderful staff, 4 private onsens, great products, free to borrow Yukatas, really cute breakfast and welcome snacks, big room(s), location is right in the middle by Yubatake, room was excellent and had private bathroom (but no shower, but that's by design in onsen towns).

The room was clean and very spacious! The hotel offers pyjamas and Yukatas for guests. The breakfast was so tasty and the service was incredible! The Onsen is private and available from 3pm to 9am. Overall we loved our experience and would come back anytime.

Our fourth stay here and we are still absolutely smitten with this place. Comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, delicious food, and the best baths in the prefecture, all wrapped up in a cozy, creaky, glowing inn nestled deep in the woods.

Oyado Tamaki offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and a traditional garden with benches where guests can sit and relax in.

Nice location, gorgeous facilities. The ambiance is soothing and the meals are absolutely delicious. We experienced Japanese customer care like never before. The baths are amazing with an indoor and outdoor area, and the amenities are all you could ask for.
