Miyajima Seaside Hotel ligger bara 5 minuters bilresa från färjehamnen Miyajima som erbjuder gratis transferservice och vacker utsikt över havet. This was easily one of the best - if not the best - hotel experience I have ever had in my life! The staff was super friendly, took care of our baggage while we went sightseeing (they even offered us umbrellas!) and then came to get us in the evening to bring us to the hotel. The included dinner and breakfast were amazing, it really was a luxurious experience! The onsen accepted tatoos so another plus. The seaside view was beautiful even if the weather was not ideal.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Everything was simply excellent and absolutely perfect. We felt luxuriously pampered in this beautiful ryokan. Its position is great, just minutes from the Itsukushima shrine and the great torii. It is perched on a hill, so rooms have the most perfect view on the torii and the sea. However, this is not an issue with luggage as there is an on-call free shuttle service from/to the port, that even picks you up on arrival, or delivers your luggage when leaving. Kaiseki dinner and japanese-style breakfast were highlights of our stay and absolutely fairly priced considering the half-board rate of the room. We also enjoyed the private onsen for a thirty minute slot that we could choose at check-in. Our room was very spacious - we guessed it could host 3 more people, with beautiful tatami and complete with yukatas to wear and a nice welcome tea served to us upon arrival. Amazing and unforgettable stay!

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Cosy clean apartment. Helpful friendly staff. Delicious Japanese style breakfast. Relaxing onsen with inside and outside pools. Everything was perfect!

Azumi Setoda ligger i Onomichi, 25 km från Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en restaurang. Just fabulous from start to finish.

Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa ligger i Miyajima, 2,3 km från Tsutsumigaura strand och 6 minuters promenad från Toyokuni Shrine Five-Story Pagoda, och har en gemensam lounge. Det här var ett mycket bekvämt och genuint ryokan med omtänksam och vänlig personal! De erbjöd oss att middag på ryokan trots att vi inte bokat i förväg. Middagen var helt underbar - bland det bästa vi fått i Japan. Även frukosten var utmärkt!

Suminoe Ryokan ligger i Onomichi, inom 25 km från Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine och 28 km från Saikon-ji Temple, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi samt gratis privat parkering för gäster... Old traditional Inn with a beautiful garden in the courtyard and views of the waterfront. Lots of common areas space. Our room had a garden view, was spacious, futons and pillows very comfortable. There is a good size fridge, a toilet, and a convenient sink for wash up and set all toiletries. Everything works well, wifi etc…onsen was very nice as well. The whole place is very clean and quiet, Breakfast and dinner are served in a room and you can enjoy the view of the garden if you leave the doors open, the food was very good, traditional Japanese. Fantastic location, basically across the street from the ferry we took for Onomichi. And by the bike path. The Main Street starts around the corner. All the staff is wonderful. The hostesses are incredibly kind, fun and caring, they will assist you with anything. They picked us up at the Setoda bus station, we were grateful. You can rent a bike nearby. Also I forgot my iPad on the JR train, they took the matter in their hands and I got it the next day!! We spent 3 nights and it was great. We will definitely come back if in the area again.

Oyado Tsukiusagi erbjuder boende i Miyajima, 13 minuters promenad från Momijidani Park och 600 m från The great Torii. Everything was exceptional. We loved the Oyado Tsukiusagi! It had the most comfortable futon beds we experienced through our 5 weeks of traveling through Japan, a beautiful and clean room, and the lady at the hotel was very nice and welcoming. We really love Miyajima so we were very happy that we could stay at the island through the night.

Itsumoya erbjuder boende i Miyajima, mindre än 1 km från Itsukushima Shrine Treasure Hall och 16 minuters promenad från Shiraito Falls. We loved everything about the property. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The house was spotless, beautiful, and full of character. The location was perfect… peaceful and tucked away, but still only a short walk to the island’s main sights, shops, and ferries. It made exploring Miyajima incredibly easy. Communication with the host was clear, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. A map of the island with restaurants pinpointed including their business hours was provided to us at check in which was very thoughtful. We loved the quiet atmosphere, the beautiful interior, and the sense of calm the property offered. The beds were VERY comfortable! Plates, cups, cutlery, chopsticks, teapot plus tea and yummy coffee were all available! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Miyajima.

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Everything was fantastic - the rooms came with Yukatas, pajamas, vests, tea, water, a towel bag and one face wash set. The breakfast in the morning was unbelievable - that alone made the price well worth it, but add in the baths and lovely rooms & decor - just an unbelievable stay.
