Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. The greatest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect- it's near the bus stop and pretty close to Open-Air Museum. I also loved the onsen, both of them were clean and nice. The common area is cool and everything you need is there. I absolutely recommend it!

Located in Hakone in the Kanagawa region, with Gora Station and Hakone Gora Park nearby, WPU HOTEL Hakone provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Their onsen facility was really nice. The room was quite spacious for groups and super clean. The place is centrally located especially if you want to visit museums near Hakone. The front desk who attended for us the night we arrive was really nice. She helped us through the phone calls when we lost our way and recommended us several different ways to get there. Even chatted with us a bit since she noticed we are ARMY too :) We had a really great time and would stay here again if we ever visit Hakone next time~

Featuring a garden, Hakone Onsen Yuyado Yamanoshou is set in Hakone, 200 metres from Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands. This 3-star ryokan features free WiFi. The whole Ryokan experience is wonderful. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. They have an option to reserve the Onsen, which gave us the opportunity to be all together for almost an hour. Breakfast is nicely served and it is an experience on its owne.d

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Great location and charming accomodation and room. The onsens were some of the best I've ever used in Japan, the extra hot bath is especially great on a cold night. Staff were extremely helpful and showed me places worth visiting in Kusatsu. Would definitely stay again.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Everything. Especially breakfast.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. A lovely little spa break. First time staying in a ryokan, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was charming, bed comfortable and the onsen was amazing. Dinner was great too. I had plans change last minute and the staff was gracious enough to help me out.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Facilities were very nice with traditional japanese feeling while western style bathroom was available in the room. Bigger private bathroom was a great experience. Staff was very nice, considerate and helpful :)

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. Outside onsen is spectacular. I absolutely recommend to spend at least one night there. Nature environment is astonishing. Very quiet place. Dinner and breakfast very good. The hotel is not new, as many reviews say, but i found it really nice. We has some extra needs and staff Made everything possible to Meet them. I really appreciate their help
