Det finns fina kimono-badrockar att använda. Lugnt och tyst område precis vid en kanal men ändå bara 15 min gångväg till Kyoto station och nära till flera tunnelbanestationer. I kvarteret låg en väldigt trevlig ölbar, Kyoto Beer Lab - prova den.

Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei ligger 10 minuters promenad från den livliga stadsdelen Kawaramachi och erbjuder boende i japansk stil med moderna faciliteter och traditionell design. We stayed in a cute tatami room that allowed us to have a very Japanese experience. The breakfast was very good, with options for everyone, and price was fair. The staff was extremely nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were having a good time.

Ryokan Ryokufuso erbjuder gratis Wi-Fi och en rymlig allmän badavdelning, 15 minuters promenad från järnvägsstationen JR Kyoto. We really loved the ryokan. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable, and it reflected traditional Japanese culture wonderfully. The staff were excellent — very kind and helpful. Despite some reviews mentioning noise, we had no issues at all; in fact, I would say it was quite peaceful. We also used the onsen and truly enjoyed it. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for us in every way, and we were very satisfied with our stay. The location of the hotel was a little bit away from the city center, but honestly, I didn’t mind at all. Kyoto is a small city, and we could easily get to all the places we wanted to visit. So if you’re staying at a ryokan like this, I think location doesn’t matter that much — unless you’re planning a very long stay, in which case you might want to consider it. For us, it was definitely not a problem.

Traditional multi-course dinners, hot-spring baths overlooking old forests, and spacious Japanese rooms with nature views await guests at Negiya Ryofukaku. Vi hade ett underbart fint rum med liten trädgård och badkar med dusch utomhus. Fantastisk mat. Väldigt trevlig personal som verkligen bidrog till vistelsen. Toppenläge centralt i byn men ändå avsides i skogen. Underbar onsen.

Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in är ett 1 000 år gammalt buddhistiskt tempel. Här erbjuds boende i japansk stil, en vacker trädgård och gratis WiFi. Koyasan is one of the most physically beautiful places I've visited. The train ride in and the finnicular are extraordinary. The temple we stayed in was a wonderful experience. The accomodation was incredibly tasteful and clean and comfortable. The vegan food was strange for us...Beautifully presented but not to our taste. But that is part of the experience and we still enjoyed it tremendously. We also did the night tour of the magnificent cemetery and walked though it again in the morning. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful part of the world and staying in Syukubo Ekoin Temple.

Amazing traditional style ryokan. I love the interior, dinner was delicious and eventful, i love the sento, and I had the best sleep during our trip here! The futon was so warm!
