We stayed in a cute tatami room that allowed us to have a very Japanese experience. The breakfast was very good, with options for everyone, and price was fair. The staff was extremely nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were having a good time.

Offering free Wi-Fi and a spacious public bath, Ryokan Ryokufuso is located a 15-minute walk away from JR Kyoto Train Station. We really loved the ryokan. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable, and it reflected traditional Japanese culture wonderfully. The staff were excellent — very kind and helpful. Despite some reviews mentioning noise, we had no issues at all; in fact, I would say it was quite peaceful. We also used the onsen and truly enjoyed it. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for us in every way, and we were very satisfied with our stay. The location of the hotel was a little bit away from the city center, but honestly, I didn’t mind at all. Kyoto is a small city, and we could easily get to all the places we wanted to visit. So if you’re staying at a ryokan like this, I think location doesn’t matter that much — unless you’re planning a very long stay, in which case you might want to consider it. For us, it was definitely not a problem.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. The special Japanese atmosphere is one of a kind, it is not a luxurious hotel, but everything is well organized and elegant, we were treated with polite staff and very comfortable service, we are happy and satisfied with the amazing living/ onsen experience in Seikoro Kyoto. Will consider this place again in the future.

The property was amazing. It had its own on the beds were extremely comfortable. It had a beautiful ambience and atmosphere about it. The breakfast was the breakfast of champions. Beautifully crafted very tasty. The staff were absolutely amazing. In every way. How do you recommend this place.

Ryokan Sumiya Kihoan offers a hot spring bath and a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Kameoka, 13 km from Oyamazumi Shrine. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle... The room was very spacious and even had a sauna. The private bath was very nice, and also the public ones were beautiful. We really loved the service too, we had a very nice service by Serika-san who we also loved talking to. Really appreciated the shuttle bus service.
