Matsushima Koumura se encuentra en Matsushima, a 10 km de Santuario Shiogama y a 24 km de Sendai City Community Support Center. This is such a hidden gem! The hotel is gorgeous, within easy walking distance to all the touristy spots, and the owners were sooo nice!

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. This is a very special place. The staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, and the fact that we only speak English was handled effortlessly. We were picked up from the parking lot and received a warm and professional welcome. The food was excellent, with a wide and well-considered selection. The cake and birthday decorations we requested were prepared with great care and were much appreciated. The stay feels like a quiet step back in time. The baths are beautiful, the room was spacious and refined, and the historic building has a character that invites you to wander its corridors at ease.

El Komatsukan Kofu-tei se encuentra frente a la bahía de Matsushima y ofrece alojamiento con conexión gratuita a internet por cable. A wonderfully run property offering a relaxing break in a beautiful setting. Great room, delicious food, beautiful onsens and lovely team of staff.

Sakunami Onsen Yuzukushi Salon Ichinobo está en Sendai, a 27 km de Sendai City Community Support Center, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Suzukiya Ryokan está muy bien situado en el barrio de Kamasaki Onsen, Shiroishi, a 49 km de Sendai City Community Support Center, a 47 km de Castillo Aoba y a 48 km de Zuihoden. The staff were exceptional, to the point where I feel a 10 is not a high enough rating. Everyone was amazing and understanding, even with the slight language barrier. The facilities were wonderful and as a return guest, I can guarantee that any future visit I make to the area, I will be certain to stay at this property again.

Saryo Souen está en Sendai, a 17 km de Sendai City Community Support Center, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. Great and I mean GREAT service. The staff were amazing, catering to every need. The place is quiet and very zen. It is perfect for those looking for peace and want to meditate. The onsen facilities are clean and heavenly. There was a private onsen in my room and I enjoyed it ALOT.

かっぱの宿旅館三治郎 está en Zao, a 38 km de Sendai City Community Support Center, y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. They were prepared to deal with guests of the world via technology and an open-minded attitude. The food was a delicious collection of the local ocean's best and the service excellent and friendly. We had an amazing time there, especially for a first stop on our Japan journey. Thank you! :D

竹泉荘 Chikusenso Onsen se encuentra en Zao, a 42 km de Sendai City Community Support Center, y ofrece alojamiento con centro de fitness, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Chikusenso Onsen is a beautiful retreat where you find yourself surrounded by both nature and tranquility. All of the amenities are impeccable and it is nearly impossible to not be relaxed during your time there.

TAOYA Akiu está muy bien situado en el barrio de Taihaku Ward, Sendai, a 38 km de Santuario Shiogama, a 18 km de Castillo Aoba y a 18 km de Sakuraoka Daijingu. Taoya Akiu is, in short, fantastic. Location is 2min walking from the bus stop from/to Sendai, but to get there and from there they offer a free shuttle bus (require reservation, ideally now than one day before). The few attractions in the area are all reachable by walking. The resort is huge but services are distributed well and moving around is efficient. Basically everything is included in the price and offered as part of the staying: there are free drink -including alcoholic beverages- and snacks, you can choose your yukata among the different colours avaliable. There are multiple relaxing areas which are all nice and cozy, and there is even a shop inside. The onsen (baths) are gorgeous as you see in the pics. There are 4, two indoor and two outdoor that are assigned in pair to males and females, switching every day (this is standard for Onsen places) so you can try both even if you only stay one night. Check in and out are quick and staff is polite as always in Japan. Both dinner and breakfast are buffet style with quite a huge selection. The room is amazing, large for Japanese standards (and I mean really large) and beautiful with beds in a japense style section in the middle of the room. Super recommended.
