Everything about this property was great, the rooms, the private bathrooms, the beds, etc. the staff were an incredible part of the ryokan experience, very kind and helpful and took the time to speak to us not just about the ryokan house rules but also on a personal level. It was also the best night’s sleep i had throughout our Japan trip. Very comfortable indeed and will come again for sure!

It was a beautiful room, very comfortable beds and the shared bathroom didn’t bother us as it’s a very small hotel with only a few guests. The meals were beautifully prepared and served. The location was great too.

We loved everything about our stay at Yadoya Shiroganeya. Maki is an excellent host and her mother is an amazing cook! The local food of Nagano was delicious and hand picked by Maki herself. We had fun making friends with the resident pets Fukumaru and Kenta. We were even lucky enough to see snow during our stay, but we were cozy and warm inside at all times. There are so many lovely touches to this property that made it one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed. We hope to visit again!

We had an exceptional experience Futari Shizuka. The staff were very friendly and we had lovely Japanese ladies who personally showed us to our rooms and made tea for us, and offered local Japanese snacks. We had a lovely chat, albeit limited English from them. Dinner and breakfast were served in a private room, food and service were awesome! We had a birthday celebration and they prepared a lovely cake for us. We had such a wonderful stay that we are still reminiscing weeks after our trip.

Located in the heart of Nozawa Onsen, Tanuki offers guests a traditional accommodation with Japanese-style rooms that feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Great location and apartment. We booked last minute so it was heavily discounted which made it great value for money.

Ryokan Warabino อยู่ในทาคายามะ ห่างจากสวนสัตว์ Suzaka City Zoo 12 กม. As a family with tattoos we loved the private baths. The food was outstanding and the staff we so friend giving us local apple and apple juice for kids. They picked us and dropped us off at the station even with huge amounts of snow

Hotel Yamabuki ตั้งอยู่ในโคมางาเนะ ห่างจากสวนสาธารณะปราสาททาคาโตะ 26 กม. Hot Spring was great with clean hot bath, and the staff welcomed us kindly even we arrived close to 9 pm.
