Το Marumo Ryokan βρίσκεται σε Takashima, σε απόσταση 46 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Sanzen-in Temple και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Marumo Ryokan is an authentic Japanese ryokan and is hands down the best we’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, it is impeccably clean, and the meals are a delicious traditional feast. The hosts are very accommodating and thoughtful. We took the train to Omi-Iwazu and then rode back to Omi-Takashima, where we rented bikes to visit the Shirahige shrine. We also went to Makino to spend some time at the beach. Our entire group of five wished we had planned to stay for 2 or 3 nights instead of one. It was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the rest of our trip and we would hands down all choose to stay there again!

Lovely traditional multi course dinner! Simple nutritious breakfast as well. We had a party with a nut allergy and they took it seriously with substitutions for some items on the dinner menu. Our private onsen in the room was great as well, perfect temperature with a nice little view of Lake biwako. Some of us also enjoyed the public bath. All staff were amazing, from the receptionist, to the waitresses and the driver. All of us felt we were very well taken care of despite only staying one night.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. I liked how friendly the staff was and how many things there were to do at the facility! We did onsen (in our room and the public onsen), walked around the grounds, did karaoke, and enjoyed the multi course dinner!

Το Yumotokan είναι σε Ότσου, σε απόσταση 16 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ναός Enryaku-ji και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi and δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Everything! The facilities were very nice, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would go back again, it was very relaxing.

The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Incredible ryokan experience! We loved the tranquil scenery which overlooked Lake Biwa. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional and traditional. We stayed two nights and the meals were never repeated. We loved the in room outdoor onsen overlooking the lake and the massage chair was a nice touch. A very relaxing stay. The staff was very friendly and really tried to speak English to us. We had no communication barriers. Will definitely return and highly recommend this ryokan. Very memorable experience.

Το The Gran Resort Oumi Maiko βρίσκεται σε Ότσου, σε απόσταση 23 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Sanzen-in Temple και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και μπαρ. Right across from the beach. Had a great Onsen. Good Japanese style breakfast.

Το KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone παρέχει δωμάτια σε Hikone, σε απόσταση 2,7 χλμ και 6 χλμ από τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος Κάστρο Hikone και Σταθμός Maibara, αντίστοιχα. Amazing food, pleasant staff and great onsen. Frequent shuttles to and from train station was a plus.
