Το Marumo Ryokan βρίσκεται σε Takashima, σε απόσταση 46 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Sanzen-in Temple και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Marumo Ryokan is an authentic Japanese ryokan and is hands down the best we’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, it is impeccably clean, and the meals are a delicious traditional feast. The hosts are very accommodating and thoughtful. We took the train to Omi-Iwazu and then rode back to Omi-Takashima, where we rented bikes to visit the Shirahige shrine. We also went to Makino to spend some time at the beach. Our entire group of five wished we had planned to stay for 2 or 3 nights instead of one. It was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the rest of our trip and we would hands down all choose to stay there again!

The staff were absolutely amazing and the facility is beautiful. We had a great time enjoying the Onsen, delicious food, and seeing the nearby temples.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Dinner was amazing and the staff and service was so attentive. Anzono our waiter for our dinner service went above and beyond. When one of us had to leave dinner before dessert to make their massage appointment, he offered and prepared a plate of the full dessert on a tray to be taken to the room for enjoyment afterwards.

Το Yumotokan είναι σε Ότσου, σε απόσταση 16 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ναός Enryaku-ji και διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi and δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. Absolutely amazing. Room, service and food are all amazing.

Το Dantokan Kikunoya απέχει 5 λεπτά οδικώς από το σταθμό JR Ogoto Onsen και διαθέτει ιαματικά λουτρά. Παρέχεται δωρεάν υπηρεσία παραλαβής από το σταθμό κατόπιν αιτήματος εκ των προτέρων. The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Το 長浜城下 町屋ホテル 和乃リトリートひといき είναι σε Nagahama, σε απόσταση 14 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Κάστρο Hikone και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, βεράντα και μπαρ. Our room was wonderful. The amenities were thoughtful and high quality. The host was extremely friendly and treated us to a tour of beautiful Nagahama.

Το KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone παρέχει δωμάτια σε Hikone, σε απόσταση 2,7 χλμ και 6 χλμ από τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος Κάστρο Hikone και Σταθμός Maibara, αντίστοιχα. Amazing food, pleasant staff and great onsen. Frequent shuttles to and from train station was a plus.

Το Honmachi Juku βρίσκεται σε Hikone, σε απόσταση 900μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Κάστρο Hikone και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. Very cosy and welcoming. The area is very nice with the temple just beside it and a small garden. The ryokan is beautiful. The owners are very friendly people.

Το Kiyotaki Ryokan παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο και δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους, καθώς και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης για τους επισκέπτες που ταξιδεύουν οδικώς. I absolutely loved my stay at Hikone and Kiyotaki ryokan. The room I stayed in was spacious and smelled of tatami, the bath was newly and renovated and comfortable, there was a small table in room along with a kettle and a teapot set perfect for a cup of tea in the morning. This was both one of my favorite stays in Japan so far as well as one of the cheaper ones. The owner of this ryokan is super friendly well. He gave me tips on what to see as well as a map of local cafes and restaurants and other tourist attractions which he himself helped make. Overall the stay was super friendly and I hope to come back in the future and even book the dinner this time.
