Featuring a garden, Hakone Onsen Yuyado Yamanoshou is set in Hakone, 200 metres from Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands. This 3-star ryokan features free WiFi. Authentic feel of the place and the food, the onsen was also wonderful. Everything was clean, and the traditional beds on the floor were surprisingly comfortable.

Ryokan is located in a very quiet neighborhood, local residential area. There are enough restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We looooved the Japanese breakfast prepared in ryokan. During the 2 days we stayed, every morning different breakfasts were prepared. The room is really clean and comfortable. The stuffs in Ryokan are all very helpful and kind.

Featuring a terrace with views of Lake Ashi, Hakone・Ashinoko Hanaori offers a soothing hot spring bath and sauna. The property is situated a 2-minute walk from Togendai Station on Hakone Ropeway. We loved staying at Hanaori, one of the best accommodations we've had so far! We opted for the Japanese-style room with an ofuro on the balcony, and it was wonderful. We couldn't wait to return to the hotel and relax there after a long day of walking. We didn't even want to leave the room. The breakfast and dinner are very generous, with varied and delicious options. We will definitely stay there again! Thank you all for your attention and care in every detail :)

If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay in Japan and take in some mountain views while appreciating the restorative effects of an onsen bath and trying some of the best food we had while in the country, then look no further. Our entire experience, since going in through the door, was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcome from the start. We really recommend you make your way to the bar, we had a lot of fun learning about drinks and places to check out when we returned to Tokyo. The room was exceptional and the mountain view was breathtaking. The star of the show, besides the exquisite kaiseki dinner and traditional breakfast, has to be the onsen. The experience of relaxing in the warm waters while watching the fog settle over the mountainside is unforgetable. It is also very easy to get there from the train station at Hakone-Yumoto, as there are very well signaled bus routes that stop conveniently at the door of this ryokan. A final note of thanks to the staff of Hakone Airu for making our honeymoon stay perfect and magical. We will most definitely return!

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Amazing and luxurious hotel. Spread over a large area with a large lobby and seating area. Huge rooms decorated in a traditional and modern style. The hot Onsen bath on the balcony is great fun especially on snowy nights like the one we spent. Excellent breakfast - a large selection with dishes from Japanese and Western cuisine. Great staff that provides professional, friendly and pleasant service.

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. They were very conscientious and made great effort to coordinate multiple reservations to meet our party’s needs.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. The look, the decoration, the room. The employees were supernice. Even though they wore masks most of the time, there are certain people who somehow can smile with their eyes.
