The room was very clean and well equipped with everything you need, including full toileteries and kitchenware. The staff, Meteo, was very helpful with the hiking advice and rental shop suggestions. We were very happy with our stay there.
Wonderful staff, cozy room, great breakfast, good ambience
Great facilities and very clean. Great offering compared to others in the area. Staff are very nice and helpful.
The cabins are beautiful, and very comfortable. Super clean, good shower pressure and hot water, heat works perfectly, strong wifi signal. It is well equipped with basics such as an electric stove, water heater, small fridge. Hostess is very nice and helpful.
Very nice, clean and very well equipped apartment Excellent location - close to start of hiking areas but also easy walking to restaurants and pubs Excellent staff Would definitely stay here again
This place had everything we needed to be self-sustaining, friendly staff and was kept in very good condition.
Views from balcony amazing when weather condition permitted.
Very helpful staff Quiet, our room was tidied every day
Very clean and modern. Easy access. And good quiet location nearby to market and restaurants. A bit small but manageable. Card payment available.
The most important thing is the location. El Chaltén is paradise for hikers — you can start hiking just 10 minutes from the apartment, and that alone makes this place special. The apartment has two rooms: a separate bedroom and a full kitchen. Directly across the street there is a grocery store where you can buy basic food. The quality, selection, and prices are perfectly acceptable for people who spend 8–10 hours hiking every day. We stayed five nights, and after long days on the trails we had no energy to go out, so we cooked at home instead. Everything worked perfectly: stove, freezer, and coffee machine. We didn’t even turn on the TV — the Wi-Fi was good enough to stream whatever we wanted. One important tip: the price for the national park entrance is ridiculous — we paid the full fee. However, about five minutes from the cabin there is an unguarded trail entrance. With a few minutes of online research you can find the exact location. As of December 20 it was still free, and from that path you can reach the main points of interest.
Clean, quiet, very comfortable room with equipped kitchenette. Plenty of hot water and nice shower. More like a small apartment. Great views of Rio de las Vueltas from our back window. Good location with nice courtyard a little off from Ave San Martin. Host, Anna, was very gracious. She obviously really cares about the place and providing guests a good experience. She was very prompt and clear in her communications. She let us store our extra luggage for a few days while we did a backpack trip.
The tiny house was well designed to accommodate two or three people. The host was friendly nd helpful.
Great location. Super friendly hosts.
Overall great stay and location. Great experience overall.
This place has a wonderful location (quiet but close), and is comfortable and large. We cooked every night because the kitchen area is large and communal. There are a few coffee shops within steps of the home. Also, the host was so friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!
White bed quilt seems like new, warm and comfy. Towel, shampoo and soap provided. Don't have to eat out daily as have fridge & stove. Ander speaks English, perfect for those who don't understand Spanish. He is very friendly and helpful, can easily reach out via WhatsApp. Good location, close to main street and bus terminal. Pretty quiet at night and early morning as compared to staying in hostel.
perfect location, quiet yet not far away from the main street. There is a coffee shop with nice coffee and a mini market downstairs, which was very helpful. The apartment was a good size for 2 people and very clean with amazing views. Would highly recommend.
This is how hostels should be done! Take note everyone else. Plugs and lights in every bunk, bathrooms are cleaned, I would guess once an hour, friendly staff, and overall an exceptional experience. You can also leave your bags while you hike and come back and use the shower and facilities until your bus leaves. This is how it should be done and I hope it becomes the norm.
These are very comfortable, beautifully designed apartments in an excellent location close to markets, coffee shops and restaurants. Amazing views of El Chalten /Fits Roy from the main window.
I like that there are so many things that we can do such as cooking, boiling water and store our food in the fridge. The area is peaceful and the beds are comfortable. Pilar and the other staff are very accommodating and friendly.
The appartments are very spacious and modern . The kitchen was well stocked with basic oils, vinegar and herbs and all necessary tools for cooking. Beds are extra comfortable after a long day's hike! The views over town are wonderful and Exekiel and his brother were extra helpful. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfy stay in El Chalten.
Friendly host, location, yard, functional and nice spaces
