Worb

When travelling solo, accommodation matters a lot. Great facilities are one thing, but the host’s warmth and human touch are what make a trip truly unforgettable. The weather during my Swiss trip was tricky, but this wooden chalet became my safe haven 🏡. I love the texture of the wood and the geraniums outside the window 🌸. The location is excellent: an S-Bahn station is right next to the house, just three stops to Bern Main Station. It has fully equipped kitchen with free drinks, so it’s very convenient to cook your own meals every day. Free laundry and drying service is available: leave your clothes outside the door before 11 am, the host will collect them and return them after washing and drying. One small note: as it is a wooden house, sound insulation is not perfect. You may hear noises when there are people around. Many thanks for the careful daily cleaning, plus the chocolate, wine, drinks and fruit prepared in the living room 🍷🍫🍎. I would recommend this lovely little wooden house to everyone travelling to Switzerland. It was such a wonderful stay 💛.
