We loved staying in this family home at the heart of the old medieval village. The house has been meticulously restored internally to a very high level of finish, we were very comfortable. We liked the quiet and the sunny aspect. The home is in the heart of the village but off the main thoroughfare, no passing traffic, and within easy walking distance of the excellent local boulangerie and all the amenities of the village. You cannot drive to the door and parking may be a few hundred metres away but this is a bonus!
Super location! We loved it. Thank you, it was nice to stay here.
Rooms and common area were amazing. Hosts were very helpful and the location was central to many areas in the Luberon. Did short trips (less than 1 hour) to many small villages and sites.
Location was perfect for our needs. Quiet area. Large living area. Beautiful terrasse. Kitchen equipped with everything we required for cooking a few meals at the property. Very comfortable beds.
The rooms were spacious and the property had Provence Character. The locals were so friendly, always a greeting, which made us feel welcome. The host/owner supplies everything you could possibly need, everything you would find in your own home. It is an unusual property, built out of the rocks at the rear. This would make it very cool in hotter months. It is not the same as staying in a 'new build' modern property. It felt on the cooler side in the bathroom at night It was quirky for something different, the bedrooms were modern and comfortable. The rooms are bigger than the suggested images on the photographs. A great effort was made to make sure we were comfortable and the property was spotlessly clean on arrival, beds are comfortable. Just remember, there is a lot of character rock in the building structure. The location was very central to visit lots of places; Lourmarin, close and stunning. Roussillon, 1 hour. Sisteron 1 hour 30 minutes. All worth a visit! The reason for 10/10 was superb value for money. I would advise checking if you can use the washing machine in the property before your visit. Everything else was straightforward.
The apartment and garden are wonderful and the kitchen is very very well equipped. The bathroom is small but well designed and cosy. We loved the hammock in the garden and cooked a lot.
Location, on the edge of Cucuron, was a perfect centre for exploring provencal villages. The beautiful, historic building had been transformed into 3or4 designer guest suites, very comfortable. Outstanding large formal garden, developed by the attentive and hospitable Guy and Bibi, sets the tone. It has the special French designation of “Jardin Remarkable”. During our stay, the garden transformed to concert hall, as a famous French pianist put on a concert. Elegant breakfast served just for us in the garden by the wonderful Chrystalle. And to top it off, swimming daily in the gorgeous infinity pool was a way to work off some of those extra calories.
Delightful self contained accommodation, tasteful decor, private courtyard with spa.
We were running late and it was dark and the host met us and helped access the key and shown us around the accommodation which was appreciated
