Had an amazing stay at Blaine’s Hill Farm Cottage. The host was very accommodating with early check in and us bringing along 2 dogs. The house was immaculate, beautiful decor, beds very comfortable and the out door seating area and hot tub were fab! Would definitely recommend this place to others and will be back! 5*

Shane’s property is fitted to an exceptionally high standard. It’s cosy, comfortable and homely inside. The outdoor facilities are fantastic. It genuinely feels like a countryside spa. There was plenty of wood available for both the hot tub and sauna. There is also a gas bbq available to use, which is very handy and saves the hassle of lighting a charcoal one. Plenty of both indoor and outdoor towels, robes and slippers. Where to start with the breakfast/snack box? Exceeded all expectations. Plenty of food choices for a hearty breakfast. On top of that to our surprise, lots of extra treats and drinks. We were so so impressed with this property and the attention to detail. First class hosts. Can’t recommend highly enough. The grounds are also stunning.

The house has a wow factor! It was spotlessly clean, everything you needed was at hand, the views are amazing of the Mourne Mountains, it's a few minutes into Castlewellan, 10 mins into Newcastle, 15 mins to Tyrella Beach etc, so close enough to visit places but you are in the countryside just enough to escape everything and chill.

The place was extremely cosy, child friendly and very quiet all around. The cottage is beside a farm so you are surrounded by cows. Perfect environment if you want a feel of being in a remote location. The host was very nice and welcoming.

Return visit for myself & close friend. Did not disappoint. The cabin is open & ready for your arrival at 3pm. Nicely set out with tea coffee & biscuits supplied. Kitchen has kettle toaster microwave, small oven & small fridge freezer (milk & ice supplied). Bathroom has good sized shower & well stocked with any last minute hygiene requirements. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bed & pull out sofa. Menus & link supplied for local eateries. The hot tub is clean & well sheltered. We have been blessed now each visit the weather has been on our side. Flip flops also supplied beside hot tub. Fire pit & outside bbq their if needed. Will be back again.
