Self Catering Accommodation in Kingussie

Everything! The views are spectacular from the front of this property. Location is perfect for walks in the locality - we were exceptionally lucky with the weather (being warm & sunny) throughout our stay. We were self-catering which suited our needs. I have never slept in such a huge, incredibly comfortable Super-Kingsize bed - I want one of these! Our hosts were very friendly & provided great accommodation. We knew prior to our stay that it was sensible to hire a car from Inverness Airport for the duration of our trip - this enabled us to travel further out from Kingussie ......we even drove to Isle of Skye where we picnicked, on one of the days!

Location and quality of amenities in cottage.

I liked the fact that the hut was exactly as described. Basic accomodation but spotless and so was the communal tilet and shower. People who own the property were very friendly and guided my family and I on walks, things to do in the area etc

Great location, tasteful decor and very relaxing. Bed so comfortable, slept brilliant. Well equipped and clean.

Our stay was so good. The house was very clean, and the heating warmed up the house very quickly. It was very well equipped and in an excellent location. Kate, the host, is a wonderful woman, and it was a great pleasure to meet her. We would happily come back a thousand more times. Thank you very much kate!

The chalet was super cosy and well equipped with a beautiful view. The location was perfect and the staff we met were friendly and helpful. We loved it was a family business that has a long history in the area.

The house is very special in a magical place, all rustic, but recently remodeled and with great taste and charm.

Location, Nature, relaxation, the lady that looked after us (Bridget) was wonderful, friendly and joy to chat too. We stayed in the houses over Christmas and Bridget had put a nice tree up for us. They gritted the paths around the house each day when needed, and added food to bird tables which were close the conservatory windows allowing us to view birds and squirrels up close, there was a lot of wildlife. Loverly home and garden.

The decor. Very clean, had everything you would need.

Self Check-in was easy Communication with the hosts went smooth. Spacious - which was nice after a trip that was often in small glamping cottages. Everything was super clean. I recomend for longer stays.

Very comfortable and cosy. Lovely toasty cottage. Hosts were wonderful - so happy to help and even helped us get our car out on our departure day as the snow was causing havoc everywhere.

Nice and easy transaction from host. Arrived at property and gained access Immediately.

Perfect place. Osprey lodge is situated on a farm, beautiful views, hot tub was such a treat and easily accessible walks in the area. Easy and clear instructions for checking-in and out. Location wise it is perfect as it is within reach of the Whisky Trail and Loch Ness, to name but a few.

Beautiful cottage with amazing views. Location was great - Kingussie and Aviemore not far. Very comfortable. We loved the log fire and watching the birds and rabbits from the orangery
