I’ve never slept in a more comfortable bed. Everything was spotless, the amenities were great, and the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. There‘s also a supermarked and a really good fish&chip shop right down the road. I can’t recommend staying here enough.

The hotel room was modern and extremely clean, beautiful decoration and fully equipped with anything you might need for a comfortable stay. We first arrived for one night and ended up staying 3 instead. At the ground floor there is an excellent restaurant and a great pub that are open all week long. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The location allows for plenty of fee parking options, and it was near all the best spots around. Definitely recommended!

Beautiful modern property set in an idyllic location , perfect layout and all facilities you could need for a weeks stay. Close to so many amazing locations to explore. So much wildlife around. There was a red squirrel that visited us every morning on the feeder a few metres from the entrance to the apartment. Abundant birdlife including a lot that were pretty rare, including crested tits.

Kingussie is ideal for people who want beautiful walks or a bit of climbing or cycling. There’s a fantastic bike shop called Bothy Bikes where you can hire e- bikes to explore the area. The scenery in this area is outstandingly beautiful. There is the potential to see local wildlife if you are quiet.

It was a stopover for us.

It was a stopover for us. If I had known more about the region we would have orranged an extra night. We did do a tour of the Dalwhinnie Distillery on our way south which was great. Make a booking - we were lucky as we hadn't made a one but there was two extra spots. Loved the Duke of Gordon hotel. So very old school and so beautiful. Great value for money.

Kingussie is a beautiful town, brilliantly located in the middle of Scotland, within reach of many wonderful sites of interest, including historic Ruthven Barracks, a number of castles and gardens, the stunning Cairngorms, and much more. Outdoor and adventure activities abound throughout the region. Not too far to go to Ben Nevis, Fort William, Perth, Inverness, Morayshire...

It was quite close to cairngorm, the hotel is worth booking ,hotel sits on a quite location ,with very nice mountain views which was very relaxing and offcorse they had ducks at the backyard and at the front , I would highly recommend this place to all

A lovely little highland town very clean and tidy good...

A lovely little highland town very clean and tidy good transport links and Ruthven barracks were well worth a visit about a mile walk from the railway station places to eat and drink we stayed at the Duke of Gordon hotel and we ate there food was excellent and the bar was well stocked and friendly there was also the Star hotel where you could eat and drink

Kingussie is a lovely little town in a beautiful setting in...

Kingussie is a lovely little town in a beautiful setting in the Scottish Highlands. Beware, most cafes and shops are closed on Sundays and some on Mondays too! We ate at The Star Hotel which has friendly staff, good food and is very popular with locals and holidaymakers alike. What we particularly liked about the town was the friendliness of the locals - they were most friendly and welcoming.

It's very new, so the decor is much better than more expensive hotels in the area and those in the same price range. However, the sheets and pillowcases aren't changed daily; I stayed for three days and it was the same set the whole time. My comforter had a small stain that's been there for the past few days without being changed. The towels were all folded, but I can't be sure if there are any better options.

Everything from the quiet location to the rabbits in the car park! Meanwhile, the room itself is great, has everything needed for a pleasant stay, from the fresh towels to some tea and coffee making stuff, the Grab n Go breakfast to the strong wifi, its all good .. Columba House Hotel is one of my favourite places to stay!

The crossing is a beautifully styled hotel with comfort in mind. The rooms are not extra big but they are thought trough - especially the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the nearby creek soothing. The breakfast was really good, I can recommend the porridge, an the service really nice.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, best hotel I stayed in on my Scotland Trip, Kingussie is out of the way and a really tranquil place. Hotel is perfectly situated. Will definitely recommend and definitely go back. It's just down the road from the Highland Wildlife Park too.
