United KingdomBeautiful modern property set in an idyllic location , perfect layout and all facilities you could need for a weeks stay. Close to so many amazing locations to explore. So much wildlife around. There was a red squirrel that visited us every morning on the feeder a few metres from the entrance to the apartment. Abundant birdlife including a lot that were pretty rare, including crested tits.

the accommodation was adjacent to the wonderful Highlands Wildlife Park which was a great way to spend a few hours.
the Bistro cafe in Kingussie was superb, small cosy atmosphere, good service, great food well cooked and presented.
the Chinese take away in Kingussie was nice.

Kingussie is ideal for people who want beautiful walks or a bit of climbing or cycling.
There’s a fantastic bike shop called Bothy Bikes where you can hire e- bikes to explore the area.
The scenery in this area is outstandingly beautiful.
There is the potential to see local wildlife if you are quiet.

It was a stopover for us.
It was a stopover for us. If I had known more about the region we would have orranged an extra night. We did do a tour of the Dalwhinnie Distillery on our way south which was great. Make a booking - we were lucky as we hadn't made a one but there was two extra spots.
Loved the Duke of Gordon hotel. So very old school and so beautiful. Great value for money.

Kingussie is a beautiful town, brilliantly located in the middle of Scotland, within reach of many wonderful sites of interest, including historic Ruthven Barracks, a number of castles and gardens, the stunning Cairngorms, and much more. Outdoor and adventure activities abound throughout the region. Not too far to go to Ben Nevis, Fort William, Perth, Inverness, Morayshire...

It was quite close to cairngorm, the hotel is worth booking ,hotel sits on a quite location ,with very nice mountain views which was very relaxing and offcorse they had ducks at the backyard and at the front , I would highly recommend this place to all

A lovely little highland town very clean and tidy good...
A lovely little highland town very clean and tidy good transport links and Ruthven barracks were well worth a visit about a mile walk from the railway station places to eat and drink we stayed at the Duke of Gordon hotel and we ate there food was excellent and the bar was well stocked and friendly there was also the Star hotel where you could eat and drink

We had a great time in Kingussie at the Crossing. The town is very charming and the hotel is well renovated and comfortable. We were very surprised by how accommodating they were. They were out of their way to help us find dinner the first day when we arrived to town a bit later, we were lucky they had chefs around that day for another group. Thanks Sam and team for that. They kept being accommodating recommending hikes and places to go. The breakfast was great every day.

This is a great little hotel with very welcoming hosts. Décor is both homely and quirky - great fun! Our room was so nice with a very lovely and large king size bed. Breakfast was just great and there was ample parking! Des and Sinead couldn't do enough for us and I would really recommend staying here if you are passing through Kingussie. Great value for money!! We would love to stay again!

Everything from the quiet location to the rabbits in the car park! Meanwhile, the room itself is great, has everything needed for a pleasant stay, from the fresh towels to some tea and coffee making stuff, the Grab n Go breakfast to the strong wifi, its all good .. Columba House Hotel is one of my favourite places to stay!

The hotel was fantastic! Staff were superb. The bedroom was beautiful and dinner in the pub section was brilliant. A fantastic experience. Wonderful ambience in the whole hotel. We were able to store our bikes in the designated room for bikes.
