Self Catering Accommodation in Skiathos Town

Great location to the beach, walkable distance to shops and main city street. Room was cosy and staff were lovely. Would recommend.

Lovely and clean, relaxing and calm place

The location was exactly what we were looking for, within walking distance to bars/restaurants but somewhere we could retreat to, to relax. The food at the restaurant was beautiful, hosts were very friendly and helpful and the pool area was immaculate. Our bungalow was perfect with a shop across the way if needed.

Perfect location for exploring the island, close to the beach, tavernas and shops. The room was very clean and comfortable. Cleaning done every day. The owners was wonderful hosts, really kind and helpful.

The location was absolutely perfect on a flat property set back from the main road so very tranquil and only moments from the #16 bus stop.Our room was huge with a kitchenette, bed and sitting area and in-suite bathroom was all new and large. Balcony area was a great size which also included a hanging area for wet beach towels etc. Having a pool with decent lounges/umbrellas for the times you just want to lounge by the pool instead of the beach was lovely. Staff were super friendly with great recommendations and breakfast was always a good choice of different foods.So many different tavernas close by to choose from and a great beach across the road made this accommodation absolutely perfect. As our first to this island, we felt like we’d really hit the jackpot with our choice of accommodation. No wonder there were so many return guests staying here!

The environment was stunning, and we immediately felt like part of the family that runs the accomadtion. Everyone was so kind and cheerful, especially Rena. Everybody were also very patient with my attempts to speak Greek. The rooms were always beautifully cleaned. We loved the gorgeous pool and the chilled beer served with delicious fried nuts. Every evening, there was fantastic entertainment and great fun, which didn’t affect the noise level in our room at all because Koukias is so well-designed. We enjoyed the sounds of donkeys and cicadas, which added to the wonderful atmosphere. If we visit Skiathos again, it will definitely be here.

We stayed for a week in May in a 2 bed apartment - 2 adults, and 2 children (8,6). We absolutely loved Villa Rosa. The whole villa and pool are spotlessly clean. The pool doesn't have a baby area but was perfect for us with slightly older kids. The beach was amazing with clear calm water and several food options and was a 10 to 15 min walk down a safe cut through from the villa. We had a large balcony with a distant sea view. The cooking facilities were fine for simple breakfast/ lunch, we ate out every night, there are lots of options within walking distance. Highly recommended!

Everything, pool was great and the apartment was perfect

George kindly picked us up at the airport and also dropped us off the airport on our last day again. We had a beautiful view of the sea from our balcony. The room was clean. Air condition was working and there was no extra fee for using it. Everyone in the property was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - close to the harbour, bust stop, car rental, restaurants, shops and the city center. It was interesting to have a view of the airport runway, too. We watched the planes landing and taking off. At the same time, we appreciated that there was not that many flights per day, and that we were not disturbed by any potential noise from the planes. Just be aware of a very steep hill that you need to climb to get to the accommodation. However, the view is then well worth it. The kitchen has only very basic equipment - glasses, small tea cups, plates, cutlery, a frying pan and a tiny pot to boil water for the 2 small tea cups. Otherwise no pots to cook anything. However, there are many restaurants nearby, so it's not an issue. Rania Studios is a great place and I would stay there again.

Clean, modern, great air con. Comfy beds. Great central location and very helpful and friendly host.

This was the best stay we had in Skiathos the rooms were always cleaned every day and they are spacious and very cosy, Manolis is the best host we could have asked for 😊 we will be coming back next year definetely ❤️

Helpful staff great accommodation near airport & Skiathos town & Port

I stayed at Hotel Laura for a week in May and had a wonderful time. I chose it because of the good price and central location, and it turned out to be one of the best spots in Skiathos town. It’s located in a quiet residential area, just a short walk from everything — 5 minutes to the port and 10 minutes to the beach. The hotel is small and cozy, with only a few rooms, which makes it peaceful and personal. I was allowed to check in early, and my room was spacious, beautifully furnished in a simple, traditional style. The bed was very comfortable with fresh, clean sheets and soft pillows. I especially loved the private terrace with a view of the green garden and morning sun. There’s a small kitchen with everything needed to prepare breakfast or a light meal. Cleaning was done daily, and everything was spotless. It’s a great place for solo travelers, couples or friends. There’s a supermarket nearby and free parking just around the corner. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend Hotel Laura to others. Thank you!

Very close (walking distance) to one of the beaches of the island and very good position to reach the other beautiful beaches. The accomodation was very confortable, the cleaning lady very nice. She came to clean each day and to change the sheets and towels every 3 days. The lady that took care of the whole place was really really nice and gave us all the information that we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing apartment. Right in the center of the Old port, great for trips by boat. About 5 mins to the bus stop, restaurants all around the apartment. Amazing host, the apartment was clean and the kitchen had all the appliances we needed.

Beautiful view, especially at night. Nice and clean, a sweet lady comes every day to clean the room and she and the owner are both super helpful if you have any questions. The location is perfect, 3 minutes walk from the bus that goes to all beaches, and 5 minutes from the port, restaurants and shops. 100% recommend!

Location- right in the old town center, next to a lot of nice places like: tavern, Greek restaurants, supermarket s. Daily cleaning. Dimitris, the host, very kind.

Our second stay here and everything was absolutely perfect, just like the first time.. A wonderful place with a beautiful view of the airport, close to the town center, and the apartment has everything you need. The host and the representative were both amazing, friendly and always willing to help. Honestly, there is nothing to complain about 😊 Just one tiny suggestion – it would be great to have a dustpan and brush in each apartment so guests could tidy up after themselves instead of leaving everything for the cleaner 😅 Thank you once again for a wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to coming back next year ❤️
