Self Catering Accommodation in Hellisholar

The house is amazing and just perfect for a family stay. It is well located to visit the Golden Circle/the South of Iceland. The rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen and bathroom are really well equipped (the only things we didn't manage to find are a coffee machine and a hair dryer). The hot tub had a perfect warm water, which provided relaxation after the long days in the nature. It was also easy to communicate with the owner and received answers promptly to all our questions. Highly recommend the house!

Views that made us fall in love with Iceland. Owners who were so easy to talk to. And those horses and sheep that welcome us. Best of all, the view of northern lights, although entirely dependent on nature, it was perfect place to see when it actually happens and when conditions are good.

Perfect place in nature. Hlynur is very kind and helpful. Beautiful surroundings, amazing views from rooms through big windows. Silent, far from any buildings. I can recommend it.

Comfy room and beds, nice location in the woods, clean room, kitchenette with basic cutleries, quiet place.

Most like the living room, dinning room and balcony area. The wide range of window view is good to view the outside natural environment and feel so comfortable during our breakfast time. Four rooms and two toilets are so convenient for our group of 6 persons. Also, Clean and tidy environment.

The location was amazing 😍 the cottage is even prettier than what it's shown in the pictures. It was magical The staff solved a problem as soon as they could. At night, there was a beep sound indicating a low battery in a device, we arrived late and send a message. They solved it in the morning and invited us to a delicious dinner.
